Billionaire’s Second Chance Sweetheart

Chapter 26

She hastily exited the car and went inside the apartment she had been in before her marriage, not wanting to remain any longer.

She didn’t like what happened today, but she had nowhere to go.

She stood in the bathroom, letting the hot water wash over her, but the kiss mark he left behind remained…

She was upset that she had cheated.

Despite the fact that she was not the person he loved, she constantly felt a feeling of loss in her heart.

Ava stepped out with her damp hair loose and she answered the phone.

Will two divorced men share a bed?

In case Ava did not pay her sister’s pharmaceutical bill by the deadline, the hospital phone continued calling.

She refused to seek for Goden Bran’s aid.

She could only divorce Goden Bran quickly.

That was her only chance to get the property.

They came to the Civil Affairs Bureau, where they waited outside waiting, recalling the first incident.

It was their turn to be called, but none of them moved.

Until the staff rushed out and said, “Do you want divorce?”

Then Ava stood up, walked in first, and handed in her account book and marriage certificate.

Goden Bran followed them, and the staff stared at them, gently asking, “Are you sure?”

Neither said anything.

“Have you considered it?”

The crew said.

Goden Bran smirked and glanced at Ava, who was biting her lip and nodding.

He hoped she could shake her head at that moment.

His lips curved up in self-mockery .

The divorce document was in her palm, and as she held it, Ava felt a stinging agony in her heart.

In two months, she married and made millions.

She deserved to be humiliated.

After leaving the Civil Affairs Bureau, she saw his car on the right side, so she turned left and went her own ways…

Ava continued onward, holding back her tears, but soon his car came up with her, and he got out, stepped around her, and blocked her way.

She gazed at him, waiting for her heart to burst.

She overheard him say, “Can you stay a while? I haven’t told Grandmother. ”

It was for Grandma…

He would never have thought of coming to find her or taking the effort to speak to her if not for his grandmother.

Ava sighs “She’ll find out soon. It would have been the same. Don’t tell me you’ll keep this a secret forever? ”

She wallked past him and fled, but he yelled angrily, “Didn’t you love your grandmother?”

He said, “A late stomach cancer! ”

Her pace slowed.

She glanced around, puzzled at the term “stomach cancer”.

When the car stopped in front of the villa, he grabbed her hand.

Wait…

Goden Bran turned his head to stare at Ava, but was unable to say anything for a long time.NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Everything seemed to shift at once.

He was surprised when she opposed him, as though he was accustomed to her docility and devotion.

He returned to work, sighing “The doctor says Grandma has advanced stomach cancer. She instructed the doctor not to tell us she doesn’t want treatment. She doesn’t want us to know. “I

“If you truly don’t want to, I won’t push you,” he added, lighting his cigarette.

He knew they were divorced and he had no right to pressurize her.

It would be a benefit if she agreed.

He couldn’t do anything to her if she refused.

Ava remembered how they had just received their divorce papers, but now they had to appear loving in front of his grandmother. She felt both resentful and silly.

But grandmother was very kind to her.

She jumped out of the car and went inside the home before he could say anything.

When Ava entered the room, she smiled and concealed her anguish. She prepared her grandmother’s favorite foods until after her grandmother had fallen asleep, allowing her to return to her room and prepare to sleep in the guest room.

“Whither?”

“Guest room,” she said coldly.

“Does Grandma mind if you sleep in her room?”

“We’re divorced, do you still want to lie in the same bed?” Ava said mockingly.

“You sleep on the bed, I’ll sleep on the couch,” Goden Bran said

He then sat on the couch, his back to her, as if annoyed.

He had no idea where his rage had originated from.

Neither of them should have slept with the other.

However, she had recommended it, as though millions of people didn’t want to remain in the same bed as him.

Ava tossed and turned in her huge bed that night.

Her sorrows were continuously on her mind, and tears streamed down her cheeks…

She coughed in the middle of the night, even though she had a cold.

He was sleeping when he sprang up and said, “Are you okay?”

“Wake up, drink some water, and take the medication,” he said, returning with the hot water from the nightstand.

The kindness on his face made her heart ache.

Then she would have been overjoyed.

But after her heart’s trauma, she couldn’t tell the difference between bliss and death.

She sat up, holding a cup of hot water in her hands, and bowed her head, drinking the water quietly, not daring to look at him, scared he would see the tears in her eyes.

Her tears fell gently after he left.

Next day.

Ava handed the money to the hospital

But Tianra was displeased, not wanting to see anybody in bed or speak to Ava.

“Why hasn’t Jeorge Milton been to visit me yet?”

“Bring Jeorge Milton to meet me, older sister.”

“Sometimes I simply wanted that I could die at that time since only that way no one could laugh at me for my wired look. I knew all of you felt sorry for me and loathed me.”

“I know that now that I am like this, Jeorge Milton will no longer care about me. “I love him, and I can’t live without him…”

“Leave me alone, don’t make me suffer, I’m sick of living.”

Her terrible sobs were like unseen hands gripping Ava Lins’ heart.

She tried calling Jeorge Milton’s number many times, but she was cut off each time.

“I want to speak to you,” she said as she called Jeorge Milton’s phone.

She waited in his villa’s living room. The servant handed her a cup of water,.

She held the cup firmly, not knowing what would happen next.

She came here in response to his plea.

He and she knew.

She was too inebriated to recall the last time. So how could she face it this time?

“Why didn’t you go upstairs?”

A loud bang startled Ava. Her cup dropped from her hand and smashed with a clatter.

She turned to see him in his pyjamas coming down the stairs.

“Sorry,” Ava panicked, seeing his profound look.

He moved up to her and leaned down to grasp her wrist, stopping her from picking up the shattered glass on the floor.
