Chapter 28
Elaine POV
I woke up with my right hand tied to a bed. I yanked but whoever tied this knot was an expert.
“Don’t try, Elaine. We’re stuck together.”
Neel stood at the end of the bed, staring at me.
“You didn’t tie my legs, dumbass!”
“I need them spread wide if we’re going to have a little fun,” he smirked.
My nostrils flared and I scowled. “Never!”
“You’re in no position to oppose.” He brushed his fingers along my legs and I recoiled. “I’m even excited thinking about it.”
“Where the hell am I?” This isn’t my house.
“It’s not, it’s my apartment. Damn, the whole wedding. Your Father and I had a deal and I’m collecting on it. You’re mine, Elaine.”
“I have a mate! I’ll never belong to you!”
Neel grabbed my ankle and yanked me forward the rope burned my wrist.
“That wasn’t part of the deal, Elaine.”
“The deal wasn’t with me. I will never be yours.”Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.
“I don’t give a damn. I’ll still fuck the daylights out of you. Your mate will have to die of loneliness because I tend to keep my wife.”
“Ugh, you bastard.”
He laughed and exited the room.
I yanked on the rope. I used my wolf strength but I only intensified my burns.
“Dove! Why can’t I break these?”
“Neel took a lot out of us so did the curse. You should have taken the wolf enhancers. We would have kicked his ass.”
“I need to get out of here. Does Azaire know I’ve been taken?”
“Oh, he’ll know and he’ll come.”
***
Neel left me alone for hours without water or food. I watched as the sun disappeared and the stars came out. I could smell the mountain trees from the window and the lake water in the air. We weren’t far from my Father’s house, but I didn’t expect any of them to save me. I was buying time hoping Dove would regain her strength so we could bust out of here.
The bedroom door opened and my hopes of Azaire coming to save me or my own heroic escape flew out the window. Neel unbuckled his belt and kicked the door shut.
“I’ve kept you waiting long enough. Time for some fun, sweetheart.”
I yanked my wrist and grunted. Neel pulled his shirt over his head and yanked his pants down. He reached me removed my jeans and pushed my shirt up. No, this couldn’t be happening. His thick member stood at attention. The scent of lust dripped off him like water.
“Stay back!”
Neel chuckled.
“That’s right, you can struggle a little. It makes things fun.”
He spread my legs and dropped his face between my thighs.
“Ugh, it’s like paradise.”
I bit my tongue to stop the cry as Neel’s tongue licked my inner thigh.
“It was worth the wait, Elaine.”
My attempts to close my legs were met with Neel’s hearty laugh and a violent pushback.
“Let me go!” I whimpered.
I couldn’t let him steal my strength. I grabbed his hair and he groaned. I dug my nails into his skull with all my might and pushed my legs up to kick him.
“I said let me go!”
A bright red explosion blasted Neel against the door. The explosion singed my thighs and grazed my arms, but my wrist tie loosened and I managed to free myself. Neel growled and picked himself up. He started towards me but suddenly grabbed his chest. He gasped and stumbled backwards.
“What did you do?” He gasped.
“I-I…”
I was searching for my jeans when Neel bent backwards and yelled as a bright red flame sprung from his chest. I dropped my jeans and gawked at the fire.
“Oh my-”
“You bitch! What did you do to me?”
I forgot the jeans and ran out of the bedroom. I raced downstairs and flew out the front door. The house was quiet but an Alpha’s betas were always close. I soon found myself on the road. In my haste, I didn’t search for my phone. My only option was to try to get to Opal’s house. I hoped someone found her and she was safe.
It wasn’t long before I heard a car drive up behind me. It could be Neel’s wolves coming to find me. Neel would want me punished but I didn’t even know how I did that! I started running and it felt like the car accelerated.
I glanced at the forest and thought I could hide out there when the car drove in front of me and parked.
“Crap,” I muttered.
“Elaine!” Nik burst out of the driver’s side.
“Damn it,” I said.
“What the hell happened to you?” Blazer stared at my naked and red thighs and the red rope burned on my right wrist.
Nik came around and grabbed my shoulders. I thought he would throw me in the backseat of his car but he examined my wounds.
“Where were you? Answer me, Elaine?” He asked calmly yet deadly.
“Neel… grabbed me. He hurt Opal and kidnapped me.”
Nick’s eyes turned to saucers before his wolf flashed in his eyes.
“I’m going to kill him.”
“Come on, let’s get her home. We’ll deal with Neel later,” Blazer said.
I yanked my arm free from Nik. “I’m not going back.”
“Have you been with Neel this entire time, Elaine?” Blazer asked.
Nik stared at Blazer and then focused on me. I swallowed and lifted my chin. Neel may know I had a mate but I wasn’t ready to reveal the fact to my two overprotective brothers.
“That doesn’t matter. I’m not going back.”
“Elaine, Dad’s been worried-” Nik started but I cut him off.
“Save it. If he gave a damn he wouldn’t have sold me or locked me up when I needed him.”
“He’s tough but he has to be. He didn’t sell you you’re the Alpha’s daughter it’s your duty to the pack to form a powerful alliance.”
I curled my hands into fists but I felt them burn and I feared the fire that consumed Neel would jump out and hurt either of my brothers so I relaxed my hands and exhaled deeply.
“You’re loyal Nik. Too loyal that you don’t see the faults in our Father. Go and pretend you didn’t see me.”
My brother clenched his jaw. “I’m not letting you go.”
“Enough both of you. Elaine’s hurt. Don’t forget her curse could start acting up and you’re not wearing pants. We just want to keep you safe, is that so bad?”
Blazer was right as painful as it was to admit.
Blazer opened the backdoor to the SUV and nodded for me to get in. I stared at the road I’d just run. Do I have a choice? What about Azaire? How will I get to him if I’m back at the lion’s den?
“Get in Elaine. No one’s going to hurt you. You’re my sister I’ll make sure of it.” Nik said.
I met his gaze and I hoped just this once I could trust him.
