Billionaire Daredevil In Love

Chapter 5

Clayton.

“Bullshit!”

I threw the keys to the wall.

The white wall was a reflection of how calm I liked things to be.

I enjoyed having everything work in line with what I wanted, but now, it wasn’t so.

I couldn’t bring myself to comprehend what just happened.

Someone dared to make me look like a fool, and that angered me.

How the hell did she come to my office to humiliate me?

Yesterday has to be added as the worst day of my life because I felt humiliated beyond words.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

I sat down on the couch and took a sip from the glass of vodka. Drinking was my way of handling the anger and frustration I felt.

“Man, we’ve got a problem,” Trent said as he walked in. “A fucking problem.”

His beard was neatly shaved, and I could see the worried expression on his face as he muttered those words.

Trent was the only person who knew exactly how my ego was bruised. He walked closer to me and handed me his phone.

I looked at the screen and played the video.

“The video is all over the internet.”

The glass slipped through my hands and shattered into pieces.

FUCK!

I stared at the images which played all over and over again.

“It’s trending Clayton, she does get nerves.”

“What the hell! What happens to my reputation?”

I sprawled to my feet, picked up another empty glass, and hurled it to the wall in anger.

My hands tightened in a fist.

“What are you going to do now?” Trent asked.

“Send the boys to me, I have a kitty to deal with.”

Nadine’s POV

I’m not sure how to react after last night, but the boss was yet to sack me, so I guess that’s good news.

I mixed the cocktail while waiting for anyone to call and give me the bad news.

A part of me knew I wouldn’t go scot-free with what I just did. I humiliated him, but he did first and not everyone takes things easy.

I raised my head to the lady approaching the table and wore a small smile.

“Good day, ma’am. What can I offer you?”

“Your fucking ears, bitch.”

“What?” I asked with a furrow appearing on my forehead. “Who are you?”

“Natasha, Clayton’s girlfriend. I need you to stay the fuck away from my man or I’ll mess you up.”

“Wait,” I said. “I think you’re mistaken cause I’m not in any form of relationship with your boyfriend.”

“Tell that to the media. I’m just warning you to fuck off, low life.”

She walked away, and I just stood there. I got back to work without any word. Soon, Naomi came for her shift, I grabbed my jacket and my bag.

“Common girl!” Naomi said. “You don’t have to leave so quick.”

“I know, but I have something really important to do.”

“Oh,” she scoffed. “Take care then.”

I gave a nod and walked out of the building.

I took the easiest route since I was going to drop by to see Anna. She’s been at her friend’s place, and I just thought it would be better to pick her up first.

I continued walking by the sidewalk with my earphone seated properly on my ears.

I’m not sure what happened, but in a split second, I felt blind.

I used my eyes to block the flashlight from the cars, but I realized they weren’t moving.

Instead, two men came down from the car and walked toward me.

“Do I know you?”

Before I could utter another word, one of the men yanked me from behind.

“Let me go!”

“Don’t you dare,” he threatened and pushed me into the car.

“Stop! Please stop!”

“Keep quiet, or I’ll be forced to blow off your head!.”

He placed a gag in my mouth, but I kept struggling to get out of his hold.

“Hmm!!” I tried screaming against the gag, but all my effort was futile.

I had no idea where the car was heading, but I knew we had passed a lot of buildings.

“Get her out!” one of the men ordered, and I was dragged out of the car.

I started breathing fast because I was scared for my life and what would happen to Anna.

I got led to a fucking penthouse with expensive designs and layouts.

“This way.”

I shook my head, and my hair fell to my sides. The strands fell on my face, and my eyeliner looked trudged like I was shit.

I didn’t care about my look. I just wanted to get over everything happening.

It happened so fast, and now my life was flashing in my very eyes.

I looked around, all the men had a similar look. Huge, fierce, and nonchalant.

Who could be doing this to- fuck?

My jaw dropped when I thought of it.

Clayton Rocco.

“Mmhmm.” I sounded as I tried to break loose from what was holding my hands.

“You don’t look as fierce as you did when you humiliated me.”

I raised my head immediately, and I was right. It was him, Clayton Rocco.

“Hgrh!!”

He signaled the men to take off the gag, and they did.

“Let me go!” I begged. “Please let me go. Don’t kill me, please.”

“Don’t be silly,” he chuckled. “I won’t kill you kitty, but I am sorry, I can’t let you go either.”

“What do you want me for?” I cried. “I have a sister, I beg you. Don’t kill me, I’m all she has. Please don’t hurt me.”

A deadly grin was plastered on his face.

He dropped the glass of wine on the slab and smirked. “I’m not going to hurt you.” He paused. “What’s your name, again?”

“Nadine,” I blurted. “Nadine Moore.”

“Perfect. I won’t harm you Nadine, but you are going to be working.”

“Working?”

“Yes. Not just any job, you’ll work as my sex slave for six months, and there is no escaping this, Nadine, NEVER!” he cupped my face with his hand, his voice, filled with vengeance.
