Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 990

Chapter 990

One hour later, Rosalie was pacing back and forth outside the intensive care unit.

'Dear heavens,' she prayed, 'please let Justin Lynch wake up soon. Don't let him die, I'm begging you. He shouldn't die!

'You've taken his sister in the most cruel way possible. You can't take him away, too.

'Those people who hurt his sister deserved what they got. If they continued living in this world and wreak havoc wherever they went, they'd only hurt innocent people. They deserved to die. Heavens, please open your eyes.

'There are so many vicious and wicked people causing harm upon others, yet they continue to live on unharmed. Yet, there are so many good people who are being tormented all day.

'Please don't torment Justin anymore, won't you? Let him live his life well from now on...'

"Ms. Young," a voice suddenly called out to her.

Rosalie turned around to see Aurora walking toward her. However, Theodore wasn't by her side.

Rosalie furrowed her brows. Amidst her confusion, Aurora stood right before her.

She was wearing a confident smile as she stood before Rosalie.

Rosalie looked at the face before her that resembled hers so much. She didn't know what was wrong with Theodore. Why did he have to find a woman that resembled her somewhat?

"Ms. Payne, weren't you with Theodore? Where is he?"

"He went to take a call. It sounded like something important. I waited for him for a long time and decided to just walk around. I didn't expect to see you here."

"Is that so? What a coincidence," Rosalie said flatly.

She somehow had a feeling that it wasn't just a coincidence that Aurora came here. The latter had done so deliberately.

Aurora took one step closer to Rosalie.

Rosalie in turn took a step back.

"Ms. Payne, do you need something?

If

you accidentally strolled here,

please hurry back. Otherwise,

Theodore might get ann

seeing you after his call."

"It's fine. It sounded like he needed to deal with an urgent business call. He's been on it for a while. Since we bumped into each other here, it must be fate at work. Why don't we chat for a few minutes?"

Rosalie didn't care much for chatting with Aurora. "I don't think we have anything to talk about. I don't know you very well."

"No matter what, we once shared the same man," Aurora said smugly. "That's something that ties us together."

'Who wants to share ties with her?' Rosalie wondered, convinced there was something wrong with Aurora's mental state.

Rosalie forced a smile and said, "I'm sorry, I don't think we share ties of any sort. I've divorced Theodore, and it was an amicable split."

"Was it, really? Ms. Young, if it really was an amicable split, why are you still pestering him?"

Rosalie's brows knitted tightly. "What did you say?"

She, pester Theodore? Did Aurora even know what she was saying?

When did Rosalie pester Theodore?

Theodore was clearly the one pestering her all the way to Melrine!

Aurora scoffed, and said with a

et

smirk, "Ms. Young, just look at that innocent expression on your face. Aren't you the one pestering Theodore? You came crying to him in the middle of the night that day and ended up turning to leave. You then played a vanishing game after that, making everyone search so hard for you. Weren't you pestering him by doing all that?" NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
