Chapter 2065
Claire never imagined she'd be treated this way by Jackson, and yet, Jackson himself stood by, uttering not a single word in her defense.
Fury painted Bonnie's face as she was dragged downstairs, instinctively shouting out for Jackson.
"Jackson!"
"Jackson, are you really going to just watch me get thrown out?"
After all her battles with Stella, Claire had always come out on top. The last thing she wanted was to lose face in front of Stella.
Complex emotions flooded Jackson's face. The main issue was that all the bodyguards were now under Stella's command, leaving him powerless to help Bonnie.
He could only look towards Stella, but she had already retreated to her room, seemingly undisturbed by the commotion outside.
Jackson took a deep breath, suddenly feeling threatened by this new sister's presence in his life.
Back in his room, he called his father, Boris.
The phone was picked up quickly. "Son, what's the matter?"
"Did you grant Stella all these privileges? Now, even the servants in the mansion listen to her. Dad, is this house still mine, or is she forever an outsider here?"
Boris's demeanor cooled. He might play the field, but he understood the situation clearly. He hadn't expected his son to lack the basic skill of reading people.
"Jackson, that's your sister. Bonnie is the outsider. If you keep pushing away your own, I'll cut off your credit cards. Don't think I don't know what that girl Bonnie is after by being with you." Jackson instantly fell silent. His spending was extravagant, and without money, he wouldn't know how to survive.
Moreover, all the family investments were managed by Boris. Jackson had never interfered, living a life where everything was handed to him on a silver platter.
Now, with Boris threatening to cut him off, he felt like he was being choked.
"Jackson, you better get along with Stella. I don't want to hear about you mistreating her again."
Jackson's lips tightened, his expression souring, but since he was still on the phone with Boris, he swallowed all his grievances.
Stella slept soundly until morning, undisturbed apart from her time with Beck. was the most peaceful sleep she had had in a long time.
After yawning and freshening up, she headed downstairs only to find Jackson, quite unusually, sitting at the breakfast table. Seeing him, she snorted to express her displeasure.
Stella found it amusing. This
so-called brother of hers had always
been reckless with money and pampered at school. Without the Sanders family name, he'd have no means to support himself.
She sat down, overhearing Jackson's threat.

"Don't think just because Dad's listening to you now, you can do whatever you want. Once you get that one percent of the shares, this family won't need you anymore. Dad will definitely find a way to take those shares back from you."
Stella couldn't believe her ears. How could Jackson be so clueless to say such things?
Anyone with a bit of intelligence would know to try and get on her good side at a time like this.
She remained silent, slowly enjoying her breakfast.
Jackson, unwilling to share a table with her, quickly finished eating and left.
As Stella prepared to leave, she looked up at the sun as if foreseeing she wouldn't see it much longer.
She made a call, inquiring about Bonnie's whereabouts the previous night.
"She went to see Alan. I've got the video ready. Want me to send it to you now?"This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
"Transfer it to my computer first, then post a copy on the school forum. Let's give my dear brother a taste of public scrutiny."
The person on the other end chuckled, "Should we settle the final payment then?"
"It's already been deposited into your account."
"Great, pleasure doing business with you."
After hanging up, Stella sat on a nearby bench, lost in thought. Her heart felt ablaze, the only thing keeping her going was the prospect of seeing Jackson and Bonnie's downfall. She smiled slightly, then had her driver take her away.
Now, she really had nowhere else to
go. Ever since being blacklisted in the industry for plagiarism, no one wanted her designs. So, she amused herself by sketching on the street, willing to draw for anyone willing to pay.
She had just finished a piece when a beautiful woman stopped at her stall.
Maja crouched down, examining Stella's previous works, her eyes slightly lifting in appreciation.
"Are you a professional?"
