Chapter 9
Chapter 9
"What do you mean by the word "messed up"?" asked Bruce.
“There were bruises on her face and her eyes looked puffy. I don't know what happened to her. Hurry
up and see her, it looks like she has something to tell you," said Dorothy.
"Okay, Mom. Then I'll see her now after putting Lisa's things into her room."
Then they entered the house. Lisa and Sean sat at the dining table, while Bruce went up to the second
floor and put all of Lisa's belongings inside her bedroom. Then, without waiting long, Bruce immediately
went back down to the first floor and said goodbye to the mother and his two children, then hurried off
to meet someone who was waiting for him at the hotel in the city center.
That afternoon, the weather in Stowe was quite chilly, and as he drove carefully, Bruce wished those
waiting for him well. Remembering the word bruised Dorothy made him even more anxious.
About forty minutes later, Bruce's car arrived in front of a hotel that wasn't too big but was quite busy in
winter and holidays. After closing the car door tightly, the man immediately entered the hotel and stood
in front of the receptionist.
"Is there anything we can help you with, sir?" asked the receptionist.
“I want to see someone, but I don't know the room number. I'll call her now. Wait a minute," he replied.
Bruce immediately pressed a name that seemed familiar to him. Several ringtones rang and finally the
phone was picked up.
"Bruce," said a voice on the other end of the line.
“Gwen, are you all right, honey?” he asked.
"I-I'm fine, come to my room," he pleaded.
"Good. I'm there now. What's your room number?"
"Number 35."
"Okay."
After his conversation with the woman identified as Gwen was over, Bruce immediately informed the
receptionist that he would visit room number 35. To ensure security inside the hotel, the receptionist
verified this by calling the room where Gwen was staying.
After all the info was verified properly, the receptionist invited Bruce to go up to the third floor. Without
waiting long, the man hurriedly walked quickly towards the elevator to go upstairs. His heart was
beating faster, hoping that Gwen would be okay.
Arriving in front of the room where Gwen was staying, Bruce knocked on the door shouting, "Gwen, it's
me."
Gwen who was originally lying down, then stood up and walked excitedly to the door of her room, then
opened the door for Bruce.
After the door opened, Gwen immediately hugged Bruce tightly while crying. Of course, this made
Bruce confused, but to comfort her lover, he returned the hug.
“Gwen, tell me what happened? Why did you follow me here?” Bruce asked curiously.
Gwen didn't answer, she continued to cry in Bruce's arms.
“Let me in first. Let's talk inside," Bruce asked.
Then, Gwen let go of her arms and let Bruce closed the bedroom door. The woman sat on the edge of
the bed, covering her body with a warm shirt. After Bruce closed and locked the door to her room, the
man sat next to her and looked at Gwen's face which was showing some bluish bruises.
"Tell me what happened?" Bruce asked, stroking Gwen's face.
“Last night Willy and I had such a big fight that I asked my sister to pick up the kids and take them to
her house. Our quarrel went on for a long time and there was no resolution. I know if I wronged him. He
already knows our forbidden affair. But, what made me angry at him was when he beat me mercilessly
while swearing at us both, after that he contacted his lawyer to prepare divorce papers for both of us,
"Gwen said while crying.
Bruce pulled the girl into his arms, his hands caressing her trembling body. Trying to calm her down,
Bruce asked again, “Have you reported this to the police? And have you checked your wound at the
hospital and made a report?”
Gwen just shook her head left and right without answering. Bruce understood the woman's condition,
taking a deep breath, he asked again, “Let's check your wound to the hospital. Do you want it, right?"
There was no response from Gwen for a long time, then Bruce stroked her head and asked again,
"Would you like to have your wound checked and make a report?"
"Yes," she answered.
"Then hurry up."
Then, Gwen let go of her arms and stood up, then took her bag that was on the table, then went with
Bruce to the hospital.
They rushed to the nearest hospital to check for bruises on Gwen's face and other parts of her body to
make a report. After returning from the hospital, Bruce escorted Gwen to her hotel room.
"I'll take you here, rest. I'll see you tomorrow morning," Bruce said.
“Bruce, sleep here tonight. Come with me," she asked as she pulled Bruce's hand into the bedroom.
Bruce who couldn't bear to leave Gwen alone then went into the bedroom. After the bedroom door was
closed and locked, the two of them took off their coats, shoes, and clothes and went into the bathroom.
Gwen invited Bruce to stand under the shower and they were kissing. They touched and caressed Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.
each other until a sigh escaped their lips.
The desire that had started to rise made Bruce not want to wait any longer, he immediately asked
Gwen to turn around and they made love under the shower. Gwen didn't feel the pain of being injured
anymore when she and Bruce unite and try to reach a peak of pleasure.
The shadows of the two bodies moving in rhythm create a beautiful dance silhouette based on
forbidden love. A love that should not continue, because Gwen's status is still married. During that time,
the two had an affair without anyone knowing.
From romance in the bathroom, they continued to bed. Then, they fell asleep until the next morning.
Meanwhile, on the other side of Stowe. Scott, Tom, and Katie are getting ready to start their mission to
see Bert who is Scott's father's former assistant. They drove in Scott's private car to the outskirts of
Stowe. Until finally, they arrived at a housing complex that is quite good. They looked for Bert's home
address according to clues from Scott's father's employee lists.
Not long after, the house they were looking for was found. They hurried down and walked towards the
terrace of the house. Tom knocked on the door shouting, “Good morning, Mr. Bert."
However, after several knocks, there was no answer from within. Tom grew curious. He knocked on the
door again with a loud knock, but it was still quiet. They became even more curious.
