Chapter 547: The Finale: I’m Your Star Forever
“Don’t worry, I promise I’ll bring our babies back.” Ethan supported Kylie to have a seat aside.
“Ethan, find them now,” Kylie said in floods of tears.
When Ethan left the lounge, Barbara and others came to see the babies, but only see Kylie crying alone there.
“It’s all my fault! I shouldn’t have left!” Barbara felt utterly regretful and terrible.
“Mom.” Kylie couldn’t stop crying but still had to comfort Barbara. “If you have stayed here, you probably would have been hurt too.”
“Kylie’s right.” Adolph looked serious. “The most important thing is to find the babies back.”
“Why don’t you go, to do that right now?” Barbara also cried out.
“Ethan already left to search for the babies. Dad could stay here to protect us,” Kylie said. Although she was heartbroken, she still had a reason.
The old and the young of their family were all in this room now, and they indeed needed a strong man to protect them.
There was a black MPV stopped outside the hotel, and four men were walking towards it with two feather cases in their hands. They talked and laughed along the way.
One of them pulled the car door open and sat on the driver’s seat. “I’m surprised that it went so smoothly today.”
He didn’t start the car until his partners were all seated. “We are blessed. We must seize this chance!”
“I didn’t expect that they only left a housekeeper to guard the babies. The bitch made us lose dozens of million dollars. We must pay for her back!”
“Well, I think we…” When the man on the driver’s seat was about to say something more, he stopped and seemed terrified all of a sudden. The rest of the people in the car turned to look out of the car window at once.
A tall man in a black windbreaker was standing at the front of their car.
He turned at a slow pace and took off the large sunglasses on his nose.
“Boss?” The man on the driver’s seat blurted it out when he saw the familiar clown mask.
He couldn’t believe his eyes, then got out of the car.
“Boss, you’re still alive?” He walked to Clown with a smile. “We just caught the two babies of…” Before he could finish his sentence, he was slapped across the force, then fell on the ground.
“B-Boss.” He was shocked.
Few of them left the car without delay. The tallest man among them noticed something strange. “Boss, do you want the two babies? She made you suffer a lot. Why do you still want to help her?”
Clown sneered and reached out a hand. “Give the babies to me, or you’ll all be dead.” Stephen’s voice was angry and sent shivers down their spine. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
They exchanged a glance with each other but were unwilling to do so.
“Impossible!” the tallest man said. “We won’t listen to you anymore. You only care about the bitch, and don’t think about us at all!”
“We won’t give the babies to you!” others said.
Although the clown mask wears a face with a broad smile, the pair of eyes under it was full of threats.
“I’m afraid it’s not a good choice.” The moment Clown finished saying that, he moved to their faces like lightning after shifting into his wolf form.
Within seconds, he quickly killed them down, and a pungent stench of blood mixed the air.
Clown picked a feather case up, but the other was grabbed away by another man who was still alive.
The man opened the case and lifted the baby out of it.
It was obvious that the baby was drugged because it was still in a deep sleep after the loud noises.
A touch of worries flashed through the Clown’s eyes when he found the baby was the girl.
The baby girl was already very weak when she left her mother’s body, and her life could be in danger any moment if they messed up to save her.
“Let her go if you want to stay alive,” Clown said in a cold tone.
The man glanced at the baby, then moved backward step by step. “Even if I give this baby to you, I can’t survive. I think she can die with me.”
The loud noises of their fighting alerted Ethan and his people who just came in a minute ago.
When the man found he was cornered, he took out a syringe without hesitation. “Stay away, or I’ll kill her!”
Ethan frowned, then glanced at Clown.
Probably because they had cooperated many times before, Clown moved to the direction of Ethan at a slow pace with tacit agreement. When they were close enough, Clown threw the baby boy to him. “Catch the baby!”
The second he finished saying that, Ethan already held the baby case steadily while the baby girl remained at the man’s hand.
Seeing that Clown chose to side with Ethan, the man also moved to his people’s side that still remain alive. Stephen moved quickly and broke their legs without delay.
They did their best to get back to their feet after Stephen broke their legs and arms, but they weren’t a match for him after he shifted into his wolf form behind his disguise mask.
“You can’t escape.” Clown turned and ran to the car when he noticed the man moved.
Ethan gave the baby boy to Nate and chased them up too. Two of them stopped the car at its front and back.
“I told you I wouldn’t give the baby to you even if I’m dead!” the man said and raised the syringe in his hand.
Ethan pointed his handgun at the man, then shot his wrist without hesitation.
“Ah!” The man’s wrist burst into blood, and the syringe fell down to the ground.
However, the man got furious and lifted the baby up high in the air. He wanted to kill the baby by smashing it.
Stephen quickly jumped to the air, afloat, grabbed the man’s neck, and choked him to death. When the man fell, he became the meat pad of the baby.
People in the hotel heard another terrifying scream.
When they realized something terrible was happening, they escaped in all directions, but Ethan’s people already surrounded this hotel. Even a fly couldn’t find a way out.
Ethan gently carried the baby up in his arms. Seeing the baby having no reaction, he turned to look at Clown.
Clown walked over and checked the baby’s eyes. “She should have been injected hypnotic. Don’t worry, she’ll be okay once she took her Mom’s milk. She’s an immortal after all, don’t be scared about her situation,”
Vincent and his team arrested those men that left the battlefield alive, but one of them struggled with violence. He took out a remote control and yelled, “I’ll kill all of you! Die with us!” Before anyone could stop him, he pressed a button.
When Ethan heard the bleep, he protected the baby in his arms, shifted into his true form, and froze the entire surrounding to stop the bomb from exploding.
Stephen helped him quickly and broke the man’s neck, which promptly fell down dead in seconds. Unnoticing the other bomb near them, after Ethan unfroze the surrounding, the huge heat surge came the next second, but Ethan suddenly felt that someone threw himself to his back and hugged him and the baby tight.
Before the explosion sounded, Ethan heard Stephen’s gentle voice by his ears. “I do this, not for you, but for Kylie! You should live in peace with your family now, old brother,” Both Ethan and the baby were Kylie’s love. No matter which of them was killed, Kylie couldn’t accept it.
Therefore, he was willing to protect Kylie’s happiness with his own life.
The rolling heatwave gradually dispersed. Ethan shook off the dust on his head and got up. The clothes on his arms were scratched by splashes, and a little blood leaked. His twin brother was gone too.
He turned around, then saw broken pieces of a dead body along with a burned clown mask on the ground.
“Thanks, little brother. I will miss you. Hope to see you again one day,” Ethan tears fell down from his eyes while hugging his precious tiny daughter. Somehow, he knew Stephen was alive yet it appears to human eyes that he was dead by the explosion.

It was the first anniversary of their wedding; Kylie didn’t celebrate it with Ethan at a hotel but went to sweep a grave with their two babies.
Looking at the familiar face in the photo on the tombstone, Kylie felt like crying.
“Star, been a while.” Kylie put a bunch of flowers at the front of the tombstone, then called the two babies over.
The boy was smarter than common kids and could say some simple sentences when he was only a year old.
“Mommy, is he the star in the sky?” he asked Kylie.
“Yeah, he’ll take care of us forever,” Kylie said with a smile.
“Um, um…” The girl reached out her little fingers to touch the man’s face in the photo.
“Baby, it’s uncle,” Kylie said.
In the distance, a man in a black trench coat came out slowly, staring at them in silence.
He didn’t walk to the tombstone until they were gone. He bent to pick a bunch of flowers. It smelt good, and he smiled with satisfaction.
I’m your star in the sky forever!
