Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 59

Chapter 59

Lucille looked embarrassed and laughed awkwardly. “Whenever I had troubles before, I could always

get guidance from her, so I wanted to ask for her advice this time as well.”

Henson replied indifferently, “are you gonna ask my grandma’s opinion when you get married?”

Lucille’s face turned red, and she glanced at Jonathan, hinting, “Of course!”

Henson sighed, “Well, you’re out of luck then. My grandma loves that homeless guy near our house the

most, and she’ll definitely introduce you to him.”

Lucille choked.

Estelle held back her laughter, and took a bite of the salad,

A hint of amusement flashed across Jonathan’s eyes, as he pretended to be angry, “Hey, don’t make

jokes like

that.”

Everyone had different expressions on their faces, with Lucille looking the most upset.

After a moment of silence, Lucille spoke up again, this time only talking to Jonathan, “Jonathan, my

friend opened a nightclub. I’ve been there and it’s not bad. How about we go there tonight?”

Jonathan looked down while eating, his expression indifferent, “I stayed up late last night, and I want to

rest early today.”

Lucille asked in concern, “Did you attend a meeting last night?”

Jonathan’s eyes remained calm, “No, something else.”

Lucille suddenly realized, “You were watching a game, right?”

Jonathan glanced at Estelle, answering casually, “Mhm.”

Lucille expressed her concern, “Don’t stay

up too late. Take care of yourself.”

After finishing lunch, Estelle continued teaching Henson.

Lucille came with the excuse of visiting Jonathan’s parents, then had lunch with them. After the meal,

she didn’t have any reason to stay, so she left reluctantly.

After the class, Henson asked Estelle to teach him shooting. They went to the lawn in the yard and

played for a

while.

Jonathan sat on the balcony on the third floor, basking in the comfortable sunlight. He indeed hadn’t

slept well last night and was now dozing off on the sofa.

When laughter came from the yard, he turned his gaze and saw Estelle.

She was teaching Henson how to shoot, dressed in a simple hoodie and sweatpants, her hair messy

from the wind, but her body standing tall and straight.

Jonathan watched her, lost in thought.

He never thought that he would find a sexual partner.

Physiologically, he was rarely impulsive.

Back when he was engaged with the Macclain family, he was truly resistant deep down, and he didn’t

take the marriage seriously or think about actually marrying a wife. NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

He didn’t think he would have any relationship with Estelle before that night, after all, there was too

much difference between them in age and experience.

But after that night, everything seemed to fall into place naturally.

He couldn’t quite grasp Estelle’s intentions, nor did he care. They were like passengers who had

boarded the wrong train, eventually departing and disappearing from each other’s worlds after reaching

the destination.

He closed his eyes, squinting for a while, and regained his usual calm and sharp look when he opened

them again. He no longer watched Estelle’s shooting figure and got up to go to the study.
