Got On His Love Pirate Ship

Chapter 10 My Little Bear God

Ashburn saw me with Patton, his face darkening as he took long strides forward, pulling me away.

Patton, who had intended to talk to me, was interrupted by Ashburn.

“Melody, it’s getting late, time to go home.”

I apologized to Patton with a look, said goodbye, and got into the back seat with Ashburn.

Once inside the car, Ashburn didn’t start driving. He just sat there in the driver’s seat, locking eyes with Patton.

I didn’t know what the two of them saw in each other’s gaze, but it seemed somewhat amusing to me.

“Ashy, let’s go.”

Ashburn withdrew his gaze, looking at me through the rearview mirror with a deep voice.

“Come here.”

I knew if I didn’t comply this time, I didn’t know what Ashburn might explode in front of Patton. So, I got off and took the front passenger seat.

I turned to wave goodbye to Patton, but Ashburn raised the car window, blocking our line of sight.

We didn’t talk much on the way home. I couldn’t pretend to sleep in the front seat, and the atmosphere was awkward.

“Have you been busy lately?”

In the end, Ashburn softened first.

I replied that I was just busy with my final project.

“What do you want to do after graduation?”Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

I remained silent. Although I had already decided to study at Parsons, I didn’t want to tell him. I don’t know when it happened, but Ashburn is no longer my go-to person to share things with.

“If you haven’t figured it out, take your time.”

I continued to remain silent, not wanting to lie to him but also not willing to disclose my plans.

Ashburn, seeing my silence, pulled over to the side of the road.

I turned to look at him, and he unfastened his seatbelt, leaning over to kiss me.

I pulled away, “Are you crazy, Ashburn, you really are.”

His hands were still on my face, and the fire in his eyes threatened to engulf me.

“Patton… did he touch you? Where did he touch you? Did you hold hands? Did you kiss? Did you go to bed together?”

With each question, he drew closer, and my smile deepened.

“Ashburn, the things between me and him, I think you know better than I do.”

“Didn’t those men following me tell you? The things about me holding hands, kissing, and going to bed with him!”
