Chapter 504
Chapter 504 Royal Introduction *Selena*
"Arabella?!" The hot Greek God gasped, his sculpted features contorted with astonishment as his eyes locked onto mine.
I found myself momentarily frozen, unable to tear my gaze away from his intense, bright blue eyes. There was something captivating about him, something that made me feel both exhilarated and strangely familiar, even though I was certain we had never met before. "Selena?!" Lola's voice rang out, with a deep throat-clearing voice in the background that made us come out of our trance, breaking through the hazy bubble that had formed around the mysterious stranger.
She hurried to my side, her eyes wide with bewilderment as she took in the scene before her. Her gaze darted between me and the striking stranger, clearly searching for answers. She turned to me, her voice filled with confusion, "Who is Arabella?"
Her words only added to the whirlwind of confusion that had enveloped me. I was just as perplexed as Lola as to why this stranger was addressing me by a name that wasn't mine.
Before I could respond, a commanding voice boomed through the air, demanding the stranger's attention, and Zander's intimidating figure appeared next to me.
"Prince Damon! Will you release her?" He demanded, his tone carrying authority and power and his annoyance palpable.
It was then that I realized the stranger, whom I now knew as Prince Damon, was still holding me in his arms.
Prince Damon's amusement faded as he registered Alpha Zander's words. He slowly released his grip on me, his gaze turning from playful to more serious. Alpha Zander, with his cold expression and furrowed brow, stepped forward, standing intimidatingly by my side. "You are mistaken, Prince Damon," Alpha Zander stated firmly, his voice tinged with a hint of warning. "You must be confusing her with someone else."
A smirk played on Prince Damon's lips as he glanced at me, seemingly amused by the situation.
"Really? You're not Arabella?" He asked, his tone teasing.
I swallowed nervously, feeling a wave of shyness wash over me.
"No, sir," I replied softly, my voice tinged with timidity. "My name is Selena."
"Too bad. A beautiful girl like you should be named Arabella," Prince Damon declared, his gaze unwavering as it remained fixed on my face.
His words left me momentarily speechless, unsure of how to respond to such a statement. The tension in the air became even more palpable, exacerbated by the presence of Alpha Zander, whose cold aura seemed to intensify in response to Prince Damon's remark. Feeling the weight of the awkwardness that hung in the air, I stumbled over my words, desperately searching for an excuse to escape the uncomfortable situation.
"I... Um... excuse me," I managed to mutter, my voice laced with unease.
I turned to leave, hoping to find solace in the distance between us.
However, Prince Damon's voice cut through the air, stopping me in my tracks.
"Wait, you didn't introduce yourself," he called out, his tone curious yet filled with an underlying charm.
I hesitated, debating whether to continue walking or acknowledge his question.
Before I could respond, Alpha Zander interjected, attempting to fill in the gaps.
"She is Selena. She is my..." Zander began, and I panicked, not wanting to let him mention our connection. So I took the matter into my own hands.
Interrupting Alpha Zander, I interjected firmly, "I am Luna Avery's personal butler."
Prince Damon's eyebrows furrowed in surprise at my response.
"Oh, that's strange," he exclaimed, his eyes narrowing slightly. "I thought you were a princess."
His words carried a hint of curiosity as if he had expected a different answer. I couldn't help but snort in disbelief, my amusement mingling with a touch of bitterness.
"I am not a princess," I replied curtly, the weight of my words laden with resignation. I was no longer a princess. Period.
As I turned to leave, Prince Damon's voice reached my ears once again, compelling me to pause.
"You seem so much in a hurry that you didn't ask for my name, angel," he called out, his tone laced with amusement.
Nodding, I turned back towards him, ready to engage in a formal introduction. My curiosity was piqued as Prince Damon took a step forward, a confident smile gracing his lips. His hand extended gracefully to his sides, gesturing to himself as if presenting his regal presence. The air seemed to shift as he spoke, his voice carrying a hint of authority and magnetism.
"I am the vampire prince, Damon Shadowborne," he declared, his voice filled with a sense of pride that befit his royal status. The weight of his words settled in the air, emphasizing the significance of his lineage and power.
As my gaze shifted to take in his appearance fully, I couldn't help but be struck by his sheer presence. He stood tall, towering above most with an aura of strength and dominance. Every line of his sculpted physique seemed to exude power, making it clear that he was a force to be reckoned with.
His bright blue eyes held an intensity

that captivated me, drawing me into their depths. They sparkled with a hidden depth, hinting at centuries experience and wisdom. This vampire was truly magical. The contrast of his dark blonde hair against his pale complexion added to his allure, accentuating his features and enhancing the charm
that emanated from him.
I couldn't deny the magnetic pull that Prince Damon possessed, a combination of his physical presence, his royal lineage, and the enigmatic allure that seemed to surround him. Anyone would be drawn to his charming personality and I was not an exception, I guessed. "Welcome to the Moonglow Pack, Prince Damon Shadowborne," I greeted, offering a slight bow as a sign of respect.
Prince Damon acknowledged my gesture with a nod of appreciation, his eyes lingering on me as he spoke.
"Thank you, Selena. It seems my arrival to this pack has already proven useful," he remarked, his gaze fixed on me. There was an undeniable intensity in his eyes as if he saw something beyond my mere presence in the pack.
Alpha Zander cleared his throat, drawing Prince Damon's attention away from me.
"Prince Damon," he intervened, his tone indicating a need for focus. "Let's go to the celebration grounds. We have organized a grand party to welcome you."
Prince Damon nodded in agreement, acknowledging Alpha Zander's suggestion. He then turned his attention back to me.
"See you at the party, Selena," he said with a warm smile.
Returning the smile, I bowed once again, showing my respect for his royalty.
"Thank you, Prince Damon," I replied politely, even though I knew I had no intention of attending the party. It wasn't my place to partake in such grand celebrations anymore.
When they left, I turned to Lola.
"Lola, you go and enjoy yourself. I will make another soup for Luna Avery and see to the arrangements inside the kitchen." I suggested. As my cover, I had to be in my role as Luna Avery's personal butler, taking care of the pack's needs in the background. Lola looked at me with concern.
"Are you sure, Selena, that you don't want to come to the party?" She asked, concern etched in her voice.
I shook my head, my determination unwavering.
"I'm not interested in those parties. I'm okay here," I replied, shrugging.
Lola nodded understandingly and went off to join the celebration.
The sounds of the party filled the air
as music blasted through the speakers and laughter echoed throughout the pack house. From the kitchen, I could faintly hear the cheering and excitement of the pack members. It seemed that ou hard work had paid off, and everyone was enjoying the food and the joyful atmosphere.
Hours passed, and gradually the party began to wind down. The pack members left, and the royal guests were escorted to their designated rooms. The house fell into a silence that contrasted sharply with the previous revelry.
Feeling hungry and tired after
cleaning up the pack house with the
help of other omegas, I finally
decided to eat something. However, when I went to the kitchen, I found only a small amount of leftover food. Gathering it on a plate, I was about téstart eating when Matron Eden appeared before me.
"Selena, what are you going to do?" Eden asked, her tone dripping with mockery.
I looked at the plate in my hand and replied, "Having dinner."
Eden smirked cunningly and ordered, "Give that plate here. I am very tired, and I need to eat something urgently."
I knew what she was doing. However, I had no choice but to hand her the plate.
I sighed, knowing that I would have to go to bed hungry. But just as I was about to resign myself to my fate, Lola approached me with an empathetic expression.
"Selena, Eden is evil, but here, I have a hidden piece of bread for you. I'm sorry you have to work with just a piece of bread," she said, her voice filled with genuine concern.
"Thank you, Lola," I smiled gratefully, silently thanking the Moon Goddess for Lola's kindness. I was about to eat when I heard the sound of a child crying.
Curiosity piqued, I turned to see an omega's child in distress.
"What happened?" I asked, gently caressing his head.
His mother explained, "He fell asleep when the function started, and now he woke up hungry. Everything is finished, and no food is left."
With empathy filling my heart, I offered the child the bread I had.
"Sweetie, don't cry. Take this bread. I hope it will fill your tummy," I said, extending the piece of bread to him.
"Thank you. This is enough for him," the child's mother smiled, gratitude shining in her eyes.
"It's no problem," I smiled back, sighing.
My own hunger seemed to dissipate as I watched the child eat the bread, his face lighting up with contentment and happiness. At that moment, I realized that even though I had sacrificed my own meal, the joy I felt in my heart was far more satisfying than any food could ever be.
