41. Love is not Enough
41. Love is not Enough
KREW
We barely managed to get out of the elevator. I stayed at the corner of the limousine and while we were
inside the elevator because if I got to smell her, I might not be able to hold my urge, and I would take
her right here and there.
The moment the door closed behind her, I kissed her hard on her lips. “Wrap your legs around me.” I
climbed upstairs, two steps at a time.
I laid her on the bed. “I want you naked now,” I said as I stripped off my clothes hastily while I kept my
gaze pinned at her.
She got off the bed, slowly slid down the strap on her shoulder, making me groan. Then she did the
same to the other one letting the dress dropped to her ankles, giving me a show of her pink nipples.
Then she kicked off her high heels.
“How is it now?”
I strolled my eyes from her face down to her elegant shoulders to her pert breasts to her flat stomach,
then to the tiny piece of fabric covering her pussy. “Turn around. I want to see that gorgeous ass.” She
did as I said, like a ramp model.
“Beautiful. Now get back to bed.” I was already stroking my cock, and she gladly watched me with her
bottom lip between her teeth.
“I want you now, Krew.” She welcomed me with open arms.
“Gladly, baby.” I thrust into her with a grateful groan. She sighed, arched into me as she crossed her
ankles behind my back to take me deeper. It amazed me how I felt like I was home—she was my
home.
I was impatient, greedy, and rough. When I slow my pace, River demanded me with her urge.
Unquestionably, I knew what she wanted. And who I was to deny it to the one I loved? Yes, I loved her
with all my heart and soul. She made me whole again. And by that, I would give her everything in this
world, every piece of me just to make her happy.
I kissed her hard, sucked her neck, my hands were everywhere as I roughly thrust into her as I could
get. She came with my name on her lips.
“Baby. River.” I growled against her lips. My heart was pounding. I wanted to say those words at the tip
of my tongue, but I held them for a moment.
When I opened my eyes, she was staring at me, and she flexed her hips. “It’s okay.” She cupped my
face and kissed me hard. I thrust intensely even my spine started to tingle, vibrating everywhere,
sending it down to balls.
“Oh, god.” She was building for another climax. I worked on my hips with groans as I tried hard to meet
her orgasm.
As I ground into her, she tipped her head back. My body was on fire and tensed. I sucked her nipple
hard, and I heard the most beautiful melody as she sang my name. I got there quickly, throbbing, and
jerking inside her. The contraction was so powerful, leaving me breathless. I fell on top of her, gasping
for air.
“God, baby.” Her heart pounded so hard against my ear, making me so damn lucky.
Sated, I pulled her into my arms, wrapping my legs around hers.
“You’re so turning into a possessive and handsome stalker,” she said between giggles.
I looked down at her with half-lowered lids. I tried hard to hide my grins. “That’s the quality you have to
accept because there’s no chance it will disappear sooner.”
“I get that now. It might grow fast on me, anyway.” Her smile was half lazy.
“Hungry?”
“No. I’d rather have you for my midnight snacks.”
“Happy to offer.” I kissed her again. I couldn’t get enough of her. “I couldn’t starve you, and I need to
show you something.”
Her gaze flew up to me, excitement brewing in her eyes. “What is it?”
“A surprise, baby.”
She quickly got out of the bed, took my shirt, and put it on. “You don’t mind?”
“Anything you want.” I put my boxers on and held her hand.
“Wow. I haven’t been here.”
“I hope you’ll like what I did.” We entered my walk-in closet and opened another door that led to
another closet—hers that connected to her room.
“You did this?”
“Not the one who did, but my idea. I couldn’t stand the thought that you’re here but sleeping in the other
room. What kind of man would I be if I let my girlfriend not sleep in my bed?”
“What do you mean?” She smiled.
“Move in with me. Take your time to think about it. I know we’ve just started, but I couldn’t wait to see
you every time I wake up and before going to sleep. I wanna feel you in my arms every day—”
“Consider it done.”
I grinned. “Really? Even you’re about to see the best part of my surprise?”
“Is there something else?”
I pushed the door open, leading us to the best part. Her hand slipped from mine, flying up to cover her
mouth. “You turn this into a music room? Wouldn’t it disrupt your sleep?”
“I made sure this is soundproof.”
“Oh, my god. This is the best thing someone had done for me. No, I take it back. The second, because
the first one is what you did to Dad.”
I cupped her face. “I know, baby. I’m awesome.”
“Ego runs in your family.” She rolled her eyes and laughed. Her rich voice rang into my ears.
“Do you like it?”
She answered me with a kiss. “Thank you.”
“Anything for the woman I love.”
She stared at me, tears gathering in her eyes. “You mean that?”
“I love you so much, River. So much it fucking hurts.” I held her tight as she sobbed in my arms.
“I love you too.”

“You’re full of surprises, Krew.” I held a chair for her in the dining room. I prepared simple food for our
morning date because it was four in the morning.
“If you still remember that I asked you out on a date. So here I am, taking you on our morning date. I
hope you like veal cutlets in herbs.”
“Thank you. I forgot I that haven’t eaten anything after lunch,” she admitted.
“Me too. That’s why I prepared desserts too.” I sat to her left.
“How did you do all these?”
“Nothing is impossible when my woman is hungry. Your stomach kept grumbling in your sleep.”
“Really?” Her cheeks turned crimson. “I was lazy to get up when you’re all in caveman mood.”
I poured her red wine into her glass. “Bon appetite, baby. So how’s your channel?”
“Awesome. I reached half-mil subs.”
“Wow! Congrats. It’s a milestone and another reason to celebrate.”
“Thanks. Thanks to your brother, you, Krys, and Journey for being so supportive, and endorsement too.
And my collab with Adam did a huge help. The comments were mostly positive.”
Once we finished with the main, I went to the kitchen to get the dessert. When I came back, River met
me with the most dashing smile.
“Let’s have this dessert on the couch. There’s nothing special, baby. Just a cannoli crepes with ricotta. I
drizzled it with lemon syrup and sprinkled it with pistachio.”
“Good idea. And everything about you is always special, handsome.”
We spooned on the couch. I fed her with a tiny slice of crepes. “How’s it?” © NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
She was chewing with squinty eyes. Then she licked her lips. “It’s really good. I’ve been dying to ask
the first time you cook in Anna’s kitchen. How did you learn how to cook?”
“Dad did cook. He loved cooking.”
“I heard he once worked in the restaurant.”
“Dad was supporting himself while in college. He did a waitstaff before he became close to one of the
chefs. He even borrowed some cash from the chef to pay for his tuition. Later on, he married his
daughter.”
“What? Wow.” She looked surprised and astonished.
“Yeah. Then they separated. That’s the worst day of our lives. Kai struggled so bad. Krys and I, too. But
Kai did it all bad. That’s why he doesn’t do relationships. It hit him pretty bad and kept the idea in his
head that relationship destroys people. He was in love with a woman once. Then she only wanted
something from him.”
“I feel sorry for him. Kai is a good guy with a bad experience in relationships.”
I shoved another forkful into her mouth. “You’re beautiful.”
“You always said that.” She blushed.
“Because you are.”
“You don’t have any idea how you affect me, do you? I thought you always took my breath away, made
me forget things every time I looked into your eyes.”
“And into my lips, my abs, and my cock.”
“You’re the most aggravating, the most handsome man I’ve ever met, yet I want to spend my time with
you.” She did a dreamy sigh. “God, I love you, Krew.”
