Chapter 24 Taking Her Into Arms
Chapter 24 Taking Her Into Arms
A year later, Esther put on Lucia's favorite T-shirt and denim shorts, running out after Justin, "Justin,
wait for me!"
Justin stood by the iron gate outside the garden, watching Esther run over, his eyes slightly moist.
Waving towards Esther, he said in a cold voice, "Hurry up, if you move slower, you will be sent back."
Esther knew that Justin was not conversing with her, but with Lucia who was once a teenager. She had
suffered on this before, so she ran over Justin, and smiled innocently, "I'm so fast! So I don’t have to go
back!"
Justin looked at Esther for several seconds, in a daze.
That was it, Lucia used to rush to him and gave a big smile. It was him who had shaded her from the
sun and turned her into a different personality.
Suddenly, Esther was pulled into Justin's arms, his face buried into the nook of Esther's neck, his tone
trembling lightly, "Lucia, I know you will definitely come back!"
Esther gritted her teeth but endured that Justin treated her as Lucia. She didn't dare to resist and did
not want to push away this man. Luckily Lucia was dead, if she was still alive, she wouldn't even have
a chance to be a double.
She just hoped that she could be a double forever.
It had snowed in November in J City.
While A City in the south was still hot.
In this strange city, Justin’s gaze fell on the woman with short hair, holding a little beautiful girl in her
arms.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
The woman looked competent, but looked gentle, as she locked her eyes on the little girl in her arms.
The girl pointed to the trees, to the sky, to the passing cars with curiosity, and the woman answered her
questions one by one patiently.
Her smile was also gentle.
It was pity that she did not have that little mole at the top of her eyebrow, though she looked alike
Lucia.
It was a pity that her character was nothing like Lucia.
Lucia's smile was warm and bright when she was a teenager, and later she became cold and arrogant
as she hid her low self-esteem, not gentle as this woman.
There were so many similar people in this world.
But none of them were Lucia by any chance.
As Owen said, Esther, no matter how much she resembled, no matter how much training she had,
could never turn into Lucia.
The emotions that welled up and burst out of his heart were pathos, and he could not find an identical
Lucia in all his life.
Looking at the woman holding her daughter, Justin's eyes were sore. That child had to be held, and
looked so small.
He had no idea of the age of the children, only that some were tall and some were short, maybe she
was a year old, maybe two.
As Justin was to turn around, he saw a man running towards the woman, holding a pink ice cream in
his hand, handing it to the little girl in the woman's arms with a smile, and then affectionately stretched
his face over to seek for a sweet kiss from that girl.
