Chapter 938
How could they possibly be late?
Keira was fully aware that Hayden had set the wedding time for 9:19 a.m., a deliberate choice symbolizing everlasting love. With such careful thought and attention to detail, how could she disappoint him?
Lena and Keira descended the stairs, but as they reached the bottom, Keira froze in place.
There he stood.
Dressed in a sharp, tailored dark suit, his black hair slicked back neatly, and standing tall at over six feet, Hayden radiated an aura of nobility. The warm winter sunlight kissed his figure, casting a golden glow over him.
Keira had never seen a man look so breathtaking, nor had she ever seen Hayden look so handsome.
Images of their first meeting flashed in her mind his buzzcut, sun-kissed skin, and wild demeanor. Back then, she thought he was trouble. Someone to avoid.
Who would have imagined that this man would become the most important person in her life?
"Why are you here?” Keira asked, smiling as she walked toward him.
"I was afraid I wouldn't get to see my bride," Hayden replied with a smile of his own, extending his hand to her.
Keira stepped forward, placing her hand in his palm. "You've never let me down, so how could I ever let you down?”
Holding her hand tightly, Hayden gazed at the ocean. "Jace once warned me that if I ever hurt you, he wouldn't let me off. I'm not afraid of you I'm afraid of him.'

His words made her laugh, though her eyes brimmed with tears. Jace had hurt her deeply, but his love for her had always been real.

"I'm actually really grateful to him," Hayden said, his tone both touching and exasperating. " Grateful that he was there for you when I wasn't. And grateful, too, that he made mistakes, so I could have the chance to meet you."
Grateful for his mistakes? What kind of gratitude was that?
"Hayden, you and I were destined. No matter who we met along the way, I was always meant to take your hand and spend my life with you," Keira said, intertwining her fingers with his as they looked out at the waves together.
The rolling surf and the cries of seabirds seemed to celebrate their union, adding their blessings to the day.

Hayden fully respected her wishes, so their wedding was small and intimate, attended only by their friends. No one from the Hart family was invited, though Yuna, his sister, still came.
"Congratulations, brother, sister-in-law. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and love," Yuna said, addressing Keira as "sister-in-law" for the first
time.
She could tell that Yuna had finally forgiven her for deceiving her in the past.
Although their guest list was modest, the wedding itself lacked nothing. Hayden made sure Keira was given everything she deserved. Ron officiated the ceremony with humor and sincerity, delivering the vows in a way that brought both laughter and warmth to the occasion.
Even though that day was their wedding day, their little courtyard café remained open for business. Some of the patrons stayed to witness the wedding, becoming impromptu guests. They, too, became part of their story.
"I've never seen a wedding like this before-it's amazing."
"Yeah, it's so much better than those big, chaotic weddings with all kinds of distant relatives attending."noveldrama
"When I get married, I want a wedding like this too."
Their simple ceremony became something others admired.
Simplifying life-this was the highest form of living. Some people took decades to understand this. She was grateful that Hayden and herself had figured it out so young.
They took their wedding photos right there in the courtyard. Those candid moments became their wedding album. Drinking coffee and eating desserts served as their banquet. Today felt no different from any other day, except for one small detail: that day, Keira was the café owner wearing a wedding dress while making coffee.
That evening, after all thier friends and customers had left, Keira sat in the courtyard, gazing at the moon and stars overhead. They looked no different than usual, yet somehow, everything felt different.
"Here, my bride," Hayden said, placing a cup of warm milk and a dessert in front of her. "Thank you, old Hayden," Keira replied softly, gazing at him with all the love in her heart.
