My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey)

Chapter 2320

"For the sake of Tremaine's happiness, I am willing to do anything!"

Yuliana's eyes widened upon hearing the words. She almost cried in refusal.

"Madam Quartley, please do not act on impulse. I beg you to think about it again. Do you know what you're talking about?" Yuliana asked breathlessly.

"I've already made up my mind."

If it was the past Madam Quartley, it would be impossible for Madam Quartley to stoop low and apologize to Yesseca.

But things are different now.

Eversince she witnessed Tremaine becoming lesser and lesser like himself, with the Quartley Palace being cold and quiet, Madam Quartley was forced to compromise her high and mighty personality.

Furthermore, she admit that she was at fault for misunderstanding Yesseca in the first place. Hence, she felt guilty towards Yesseca too.

Madam Quartley no longer dislike Yesseca as much as she did previously. She wanted more than anything to patch things up with Yesseca. However, Yuliana refused. She wouldn't compromise even if Madam Quartley would.

She desperately cried, "Madam Quartley! You're the most respected lady in the land! The grandmother of the president of Nashaland! For you to put down your pride and apologize to such a low standard woman! If words got out, we will surely be the laughing stock of the crowd!"

"No one will know about this," Madam Quartley said. "Only both of us will know about this. We need to go to her," Madam Quartley paused for a moment and looked at Yuliana meaningfully. "Yuliana, when the right time comes, you should also say sorry to her. After all, you both will be sisters- in-law in the future and you cannot make it too awkward for the both of you."

Yuliana was speechless.

She was both anxious and angry.

She had gone through so much trouble to get rid of Yesseca but now she had to lower her pride and apologized to Yesseca?

How was that possible?

Yuliana no longer had the appetite to eat. She stood up and said, "Matriarch, I won't go, I definitely won't!"

After that, Yuliana turned away and was about to leave.

She was really angry!

Seeing Yuliana, who had always been obedient became stubborn, Madam Quartley became upset too.

She shouted, "Yuliana, you stop right there!"

No matter how angry Yuliana was, she knew her limits.

She stopped and turned around.

Madam Quartley tried to persude her, "Yuliana, kknow that you are very unhappy with what I said, but you should think about who is in charge of Quartley Palace. It's not

you nor me, it's Tremaine out it

bluntly, we are all relying on

Tremaine. If Tremaine continues to be so depressed, do you think we can still live like this? I'm afraid that the head of Quartley Palace would change!"

Madam Quartley's words made Yuliana suddenly think of something!

Yes!

She was now the Eldest Young Madam of the Quartley family. She could live lavishly and everyone had to treat her like a queen because of the president of Nashaland!

If the Quartley Palace really changed hands, would she still be able to live comfortably like this?

Obviously not!

"Madam Quartley, it's not as serious as you think, ZA moment later, Yuliana stammered, "Even if

Yesseca refuse to reconcile et

Tremaine, it wouldn't go to a point where Quartley Palace would need a new leader. Yesseca wouldn't have such powers to make these changes!"

Madam Quartley sighed and said, "She doesn't have that much power? I think she does. I tried to wake Tremaine up when he was in his sleep and do you know who hez actually thought I was?! He even took my hand and spoke in his dream!"

Yuliana was rendered completely speechless.

Madam Quartley shook her head again and said, "I woke him up later on, but he just wanted to continue sleeping. It wasn't because he was sleepy,Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.

but because he realized the only way he could see Yesseca again...is in his dreams!"
