My Identities Were Revealed After Marriage

Chapter 28

Chapter 28

Upon hearing Levy's willingness to move out of the Anthony family house to be closer to City A

University, Sandra was taken aback. It wasn't because he had a house nearby, but rather because he

was willing to make such a sacrifice just to accompany her. A sense of disbelief washed over her, and

for the first time since coming into contact with Levy Anthony, she felt the need to investigate him

further. After all, they had only just gotten married the day before, so why was he so clingy towards her

as if his life depended on her?

She fixed her gaze on him, causing Levy to shift uncomfortably and look away. Sandra spoke, "You

mentioned that you just returned to City A. Although I haven't been here for eight years, I grew up in

this city, at least until my great-grandparents passed away. You can consider me your guide and

protector here, even though I hadn't planned on staying in this place."

Protection? Did she really need protection? Sandra chuckled inwardly, thinking, "I've been here for two

years, so I know more about this place than you do. But thanks for your well-wishes. We'll see if the

university allows me to live off-campus."

Levy reassured her, saying, "Don't worry about that. I will talk to the principal on your behalf."

Soon, Sunday arrived—the day when the members of the Anthony family were expected to visit and Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

when Levy Anthony was supposed to meet Sandra's family. After having breakfast, they headed

straight to Sandra's family's villa. As they reached the villa area, Sandra displayed her pass, which her

father had given her. The security guard scanned it and allowed them to enter. She instructed the guard

to permit Levy Anthony's entry whenever he arrived. They then made their way towards her parents'

villa.

Throughout the entire journey, Sandra refrained from asking Levy how he knew the location of her

parents' villa. She assumed that he had asked his driver during their previous visit, so his familiarity

didn't surprise her.

They were warmly welcomed by the household staff, and upon entering the house, Sandra's parents

were waiting for them in the living room. Sandra greeted her parents, and then proceeded to introduce

Levy Anthony to them, saying, "Mum, Dad, this is my husband, Levy Anthony." Hearing Sandra

introduce him as her husband, Levy was filled with joy, almost losing control and wanting to kiss her.

He managed to compose himself and greeted his in-laws with politeness.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I am Levy Anthony, your daughter's husband. I apologize for not personally

coming to request her hand in marriage. I was busy with other matters since I had just returned to City

A. Please forgive any lack of formality. I deeply respect your daughter, and thank you for inviting me

here today," Levy said.

Andrew Smith responded, "Thank you also for honoring our invitation. As for the matter of the hand in

marriage, it was unexpected, and no one could have foreseen that day's events or that my daughter

would become your wife. As long as you treat my daughter with respect, I have no issue with you."

Levy took his seat, feeling grateful for the acceptance from Sandra's parents. The maid brought

refreshments since it was past breakfast time. Matilda, as if unaware of Levy's background, asked, "So,

what do you do?"

Levy answered honestly, aware that there was no need to hide anything from them, especially as he

planned to make the return of the Anthony family to City A known. "I have been overseeing our family

business," he replied. "Though the Anthony family has been based in City A, we have been out of the

public eye for the past eight years. However, that does not mean we haven't been actively involved in

business and leading our lives. I have been focused on expanding our enterprises in other cities,

seeking to avoid unnecessary attention."

Andrew listened attentively and then asked, "So, you were away from City A for all these years. We

only want to ensure our daughter's safety, and it is up to you whether or not to answer."

Levy took a moment to gather his thoughts before responding, "Indeed, the Anthony family has kept a

low profile, but we have been conducting business diligently. Our absence from City A was a deliberate

choice to work on building our businesses elsewhere, away from unnecessary disturbances."

Andrew asked, "Now that you're back in City A, do you plan on staying here permanently or are you

considering moving?" Levy replied, "For now, at least until Sandra completes her university studies."

During their conversation, they tactfully avoided delving into each other's privacy and instead discussed

various topics such as business and family. Lunchtime arrived, and they enjoyed their meal in a

comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Sandra's parents felt a sense of relief, witnessing how well Levy

took care of their daughter. His attentive gestures during the meal demonstrated his qualities as a

loving and devoted husband, feeding Sandra without any concern for others' gaze.

Deep in their hearts, Sandra's parents silently prayed that Levy would continue to protect their daughter

from any harm or enemies. Unbeknownst to them, even if all their adversaries were to unite, they would

find it challenging to bring trouble to Sandra. Nevertheless, as parents, their natural instinct was to want

their child safeguarded.

Andrew then requested a private conversation with Levy, leading them to the study room. Sandra

turned to her mother and expressed her hope that her father wouldn't make things difficult for Levy. Her

mother smiled and inquired, "Are you telling me that you fell in love with Levy in just two days and now

you don't trust your own family?"
