My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth)

Chapter 35

Chapter 35

The next morning.

Arabella slowly opened her sleepy eyes. After a good sleep, she couldn't help lingering under the warm

quilt and moved her face to the side.

However, there was no one beside her.

Kenneth had gotten up. NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Arabella's slender eyelashes shuddered. She hadn't wakened up last night, but she had sensed that

someone was sleeping beside her.

It must be Kenneth, right?

Or, was it her delusion?

Arabella buried her face in the pillow and quickly smelled his clean fragrance. And the quilt was even

still stained with his body temperature.

He had slept beside her, and they had hugged for a whole night.

Arabella lightly closed her eyes. She had decided to draw a clear line between them, but they had

kissed and even slept together. What was going on?

When Arabella got up, Janelle was still in a coma. After giving her an acupuncture treatment, she

discussed her condition with her attending physician and then returned to Floweret Garden.

...

In Floweret Garden.

Mrs. Sharon took Arabella's hand and said, "Bella, is Janelle getting better? You look tired after going

to the hospital so often. The dark circles will soon appear under your eyes. Why don't you bring her

back to Floweret Garden and hire a professional nurse to take care of her? It can kill two birds with one

stone."

Arabella felt warm and was touched. Mrs. Sharon was very kind and loving, but Arabella didn't want to

trouble her, so she declined, "Grandma, the doctor said Janelle must stay in the hospital for a few more

days because he needs to observe her condition. We need to wait until she wakes up, so I can't bring

her back now. Thanks for your concern."

Mrs. Sharon touched Arabella's head, saying in a loving way, saying, "Bella, you don't need to thank

me. We are family."

Arabella smiled obediently, "I know."

Meow!

Meow!

Suddenly, she heard a kitten meowing and felt something rubbing against her feet. When she looked

down, she saw a little cat beside her feet.

She could see the snow-white kitten was a high-end breed at a glance. It was newly born and had big

black eyes, and its cute look melt her heart.

Arabella's eyes instantly lit up, and she immediately leaned down, picked up the little cat, put it into her

arms, and asked in surprise, "Grandma, where is the cat from?"

"Do you like it? This is a gift Ken brought for you on his business trip," Mrs. Sharon laughed.

It was a gift from Kenneth?

He had brought her a gift on the business trip?

Arabella touched the cat's soft fur and smiled.

Suddenly, Mrs. Sharon took out an exquisite doll from behind and said proudly, "This is my gift from

Ken! Isn't it pretty?"

Mrs. Sharon liked dolls very much, and there were all kinds of dolls on her bed. She was old but still

liked dolls, which was very interesting.

Mrs. Sharon righteously said, "Don't think it's strange for me to like dolls. Bella, we're both women, so

you must be able to understand my princess dream, right?"

Hearing this, Arabella laughed sincerely. She had forgotten a lot of things in childhood. Her mother had

died when she had been nine years old. In her memories, her mother had been very gentle and

fragrant, and she had loved her very much. But her mother had seldom gone out, so few people had

seen her.

She remembered her father had loved her mother very much. When he had talked to her, he had

always smiled with joy flashing his bright eyes. And her parents had always treated each other with the

respect.

However, Arabella had always felt that something was missing from her home and that everything

seemed fake.
