Chapter 16
Bridget’s POV
I’m not sure if I’m cursed or what’s going on. How can I attempt to conceive a pup for four years without success?
Alex doesn’t even come close to touching me. It’s as if he knows something I don’t; he’s spent the last two years searching for that mute. Even after four years, I continue to suffer as a result of that worthless female. Bridget is in no way comparable to that enslaved person. Now I’m dealing with Alex banging every female member of the pack. As Luna, no one respects me. He is merely on the lookout for the girl he assaulted. He was the one who pursued her and allowed his own child to perish. Why do I have to go through this? I dragged my posterior into Lilian’s room. I’m aware that this woman despises my guts, but I’m curious whether I’ll ever have my own pups. When I knocked on her door, she opened it with disgust.
“Can I help you?”
“Yes, as a family physician, I require your aid.”
“Is that so? Please enter. How can I help?”
“Alex and I have been attempting to conceive a pup for an extended period. Do you think there is something wrong with me?”
“Yes, there is undoubtedly a problem with you. Is it fair to say that you hitched to someone else’s mate, even though you knew that he wasn’t yours? Perhaps once the realization sets in that he was never truly yours sink in, you will stop fantasizing about having puppies.”
Her hands raced to her mouth to close them.
“I apologize profusely, Luna. Did I strike a nerve?” she asked, smiling and frowning. I’m aware she despises me, but I never imagined she’d say it directly to my face.
“I am your Luna. You shall address me with respect.”
“Is it now, Luna? My Luna? You have never been my Luna, and you never will be. Even your husband isn’t interested in you. This is why he is now on the lookout for his true Luna. Do you believe there will be a place for you when he locates her? You took someone’s mate and seek tranquility. Aargh! Your companion did not inform you that the doctor who informed you that you had a chance of having pups wasn’t telling the truth. You will not get the opportunity to give birth to Alex’s pups.”
“At the very least, I am still the Luna, and you are without a mate.”
“It is far preferable not to have a mate than to have one who is constantly on the lookout for another. Right?”
“Fuck you!”
“With all pleasure, now get out!”
In this pack, I am suddenly a nobody. My infertility rumors have spread like wildfire. No pack member regarded me with respect. I mean, they have no reason to, since they’re all trying to find that slave, right? Alex is too preoccupied with finding his mate to notice my existence. To rub salt in the wound, he is sleeping with every omega he encounters in hopes of a pup. I am of no service to him. Alex and I have to find another way. We must continue to make an effort. I walked towards his office and to my sheer terror, I found his head deeply buried in an omega’s pussy, grunting hungrily as he consumed her pussy.
“Alex! I screamed as I closed the door behind me. He couldn’t care less that I was present. He continued devouring her pussy as if I were not present. I could tell the girl desired to flee, but Alex restrained her. She suddenly sprouts some wings.
“Are you interested in joining us, Luna?”
Alex chuckled. I could feel my wolf nearing. The girl leaped, straightened her skirt, and exited. I could see Alex was irritated by this interruption. As I faced my mate, I fought back tears. How could he have such little regard for me and betray our relationship as pack alpha and luna?
“How could you do this to me?” I questioned.
I’m fighting back tears with everything I’ve got.
“You dare to deceive me after everything we’ve been through. Alex, how could you do such a thing? I’m Luna, and I’m here to help you.”
“Aaaah, forget about becoming Luna; it’s merely a title, and a Luna who is incapable of bearing me a son is completely useless to me.”
He examined his nails as he looked at me and shrugged.
“This pack’s Luna is on the run, and I am on the lookout for her. You are ineffective. You cannot provide me with the one thing that I crave in a woman. Luna, you are a waste of space.”
He went up to me and pushed me against the wall.
“You fooled me into believing you were the diamond. While you were merely a stone, I traded the genuine diamond for such dross as you.”Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
His fingers were around my throat; I was unable to breathe.
“I should kill you for your insignificance.” He scoffed and released me, his eyes filled with hatred.
“Why are you fantasizing about locating Juno? You killed your son. What gives you the impression that she would like a monster like you?” I was again shoved against the wall.
“You should never get too comfortable with me because I was never yours. Get out of here!” As I approached the door, I was going to open it. I was pushed to the side of the table and pressed against it.
“You will learn to knock next time. Since you interjected yourself into my activity. I’m afraid I’m going to have to finish it with you.”
My garment was pulled from me, and I felt his cock squeezing its way into my quivering pussy. I’m not sure why I continue to get wet because of this guy. He is ruthless, but his presence within me provides me with comfort. He could see that I was willing, even though it was coerced. I turned around and began to fuck him, bouncing up and down his massive cock.
After all, he’s just the devil I should hang on to. Otherwise, I will be bullied in the same way that Juno was.
Juno’s POV
Snow falls beneath my feet as I go along the forest trail, oblivious to my own destiny. That was my goal. Even after all these years, the thought of dying still appeals to me. Despite the passage of time (4 years), I was still the mother of my son, my boy Darrian. Each time I looked at my wrist, uncontrollably, tears streamed down my cheeks, reminding me of my shortcomings. I’m irritated by the prospect of not dying after attempting practically everything. I sighed quietly. I’m slowing down. I’m at a loss for words at this point. I’m going to die of hypothermia. I went to my knees and began to tremble as the snow began to sink into my skin. It was lethal, but it was worth a shot.
After a few hours, I sighed and awoke to the sun beginning to set, casting a dull glow over the naked trees and gleaming white grass. The air was bitterly frigid. I grumbled as my idea fell through. I rose and began walking along a snow-covered path that led to a little settlement. From where I was, I could see people. I despise seeing people; they always seem to feel sorry for me. I changed course and headed for the woods. I wandered in circles, unsure of my destination. I came across some trees and took refuge beneath them. Sleeping beneath the tree, awaiting the passage of yet another day. It has become a part of my daily routine. I’m walking without a destination in mind and stopping anywhere I see fit.
