The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 168

At her most desperate moment, a glimmer of hope suddenly emerged. In an instant, Jenny cried tears of gratitude.

With a trembling voice, she said, "But Matt, they outnumber us. They have five people, and they're all going against you." Matthew clenched his fist slowly. "I can handle them alone."

Upon seeing Matthew's resolve, Liam's face contorted with disdain. "You should mind your own business. The siblings are useful to me, so I won't kill them. But you're worthless to me. If you dare to intervene, I'll make sure you'll meet a gruesome end!" Matthew stood in front of Jenny and Cosmo, his gaze locked on the four burly men who were approaching them. His eyes were as sharp as knives.

His murderous aura erupted fiercely, filling the air with a chilling sense of death!

Liam, upon seeing Matthew's silence, bellowed in anger, "Kill him!"

A burly man with a tattoo on his neck picked up the pace and closed in on Matthew. With a leap, he aimed a knee at Matthew's chest, shouting, "Die!"

Matthew sidestepped to the left, avoiding the strike. He then unleashed a powerful punch with his right fist that carried the force of an avalanche, squarely hitting the burly man's chest.

A muffled sound echoed as the burly man's massive body was sent flying backward. The three other men behind him hurriedly retreated.

With another dull thud, the burly man landed on the ground like a sack of potatoes. The three men were startled, unable to tell whether their companion was dead or alive.

Suddenly, a dark figure appeared before them, catching them off guard. Before they could react, they heard the ear-piercing sounds of bones snapping.

The three men instinctively clutched their necks, their eyes wide with shock as blood slowly trickled from their mouths. Moments later, all three collapsed to the ground. Their bodies twitched a few times and their legs kicked briefly before they fell. In an instant, all four men were dead!

The room seemed frozen in time. The silence was so loud that even the faintest sound could be heard.

The unsettling noise of blood

gurgling from the three men's

mouths echoed in the silent air and was amplified a thousand times. The eerie sound reverberated in the silence, making it clear that they were dead.

Jenny turned pale, clutching Cosmo tightly. She bit her lip to keep herself from crying out. The rapid, brutal turn of events left her too stunned to speak.

Liam stood in shock, struggling to grasp what had just happened. Moments ago, his four bodyguards each a martial arts expert, were very much alive. But in the blink of an

eye, all of them laid dead on the

floor.

As Liam was about to react, an overwhelming wave of fear surged through him, flooding his senses. His body began to tremble uncontrollably.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Liam's terror escalated upon watching Matthew approach, his presence was as ominous and cold as the Grim Reaper's.

His voice trembled as he shouted, "Stay... stay away! You can't kill me!"

Matthew's voice was cold. "Why? Because you're a beast?"

Liam retreated until his back was pressed against the wall, he had nowhere else to escape to. He pleaded desperately, "I... I'm a descendant of Jenson Kane, just like you!" Matthew's tone dripped with disdain. "I don't recognize you as one of us. Now, die!"

In a last-ditch effort, Liam collapsed to his knees with a thud. "Wait! I have valuable information. I can trade it for my life!"

The room echoed with the sound of Matthew's footsteps as he approached. "Speak quickly. Any hesitation, and you might lose your only chance to live."

Panic surged through Liam as he

began to explain, "My real name is

Harry Kane, My father is also a descendant of Jenson, and my. mother is Eastorian. I'm here as a part of Red Wolves to gather ancient texts. Because I..."

His words were cut off as he abruptly drew a half-foot-long blade, thrusting it toward Matthew's abdomen. The sudden flash of steel glinted ominously in the dim light.
