The Luna's Hidden Destiny

The Luna’s Hidden Destiny – Chapter 18

Suddenly he bent down, peppering k****s all around my cheeks and mouth.

“You are so f*****g adorable.” He breathed, beaming as he continued to walk us out of the hospital.

As soon as we came outside there was a large black car waiting for us. I had never seen a car in person, let alone been in one..so I felt nervous all of a sudden as ridiculousas that sounds. I glanced at Rowan, embarrassed by how new everything was for me as we made our way to the car.

“I have never been in a car before.” I admitted sheepishly as a tall man in a black suit walked out and stood next to the car’s door. His dark hair was slicked back and his posture was straight. He looked almost more professional than Tristan..almost.

Rowan, pressed his mouth against my cheek, kissing me sweetly as he whispered into my ear.

“Well it’s yours now, I could even teach you to drive it if you like?” He smiled, looking down at me with pure affection and I couldn’t help but nod my head excitedly. I never even imagined ever driving a car, let alone owning one.

“Alpha, Luna.” The man in the suit said smoothly, bowing his head as he stepped aside, opening the door widely.

“Thank you Donavan.” Rowan nodded once, his deep Alpha voice making a shiver run through me as I tried to compose myself and smiled at the man softly, making his guard drop as he smiled back in return.

Rowan placed me on the leather seat in the back of the car. Everything inside sparkling and new while the smell of leather filled me as I looked around excitedly. Rowan couldn’t help but watch my every move as he reached over, pulling down a long strap and placing it across my body.

“Gotta buckle up.” He said with a wink, making my stomach flip while he scooted next to me, placing his hand gently against my thigh.

“Where’s yours?” I asked, seeing his chest bare as he continued to stare at me.

“I can’t sit next to you if I wear it.” He whispered while squeezing my leg.

“But it protects us right? I don’t want you to get hurt.” I added worriedly, what if we got in a crash or something?

“Mila, we are like ten minutes from the house, it will be okay.” He leaned over, kissing my cheek.

“Oh, so I can take mine off?” I asked, teasing him.

“No, you keep it on.” He demanded and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Yes Alpha.” My words were playful, but boy did I not realize the impact it would have on him.

His eyes widened as he squeezed my leg tighter, a growl escaping him as he turned my head forcefully.

“I am your Alpha, my Luna.” He grumbled inches away from my lips, causing me to squeeze my thighs together. As a tingling sensation flooded through me.

Suddenly the car jerked forward and I yelped in surprise, causing Rowan to laugh, his grip becoming more gentle as he watched me carefully. I looked out the window, seeing the large pine trees towering over us as we made our way through Black Stone. There were shops and houses that lined the streets, people walked around talking and laughing happily. The sidewalks were decorated with Christmas lights and large wreaths, I’m guessing they were leftover from Christmas.

“We will have to come back when it’s dark, the whole city lights up.” Rowan whispered, seeing where my eyes were drawn to.

“It’s amazing.” I said breathlessly. The city looked incredible, cars drove past us as I watched some people riding bikes and everyone seemed to have that cellphone thing. I hadn’t seen most of this stuff in real life. Only from movies or books I’ve read. It was all so overwhelming, seeing all of these new things for the first time.

“This is your new home Mila, welcome to Black Stone.” Rowan whispered against my ear, I couldn’t help the tears that filled my eyes..our new home..a pack of our own. I hadn’t realized how badly I really wanted this. There is just one thing missing and I hoped they would find him soon.

‘This is our home Mila, our own pack. The moon goddess has blessed us greatly.’

Calypso added, full of emotion.

I turned to Rowan, meeting his gaze as I smiled, feeling thankful for this amazing man, for this amazing place. Thank you moon goddess, thank you for blessing us indeed.

Seeing Mila’s eyes sparkle as she absorbed everything outside felt so f*****g incredible. To have learned what she had been through and how she lived. I wanted to give her the f*****g world, and I vowed to do just that.

I decided early this morning that I couldn’t stay away from her, that I needed to be with her and I spent too long away already. That was why I came rushing to the hospital. I hadn’t slept in two days, let alone barely eaten. I was pissed at Tristan and Blake as well, for leaving out that important information about the rogue. Tristan said he believes it might have been the rogue who calls himself king. The thought alone makes me furious..I will rip his f*****g heart out. I can’t wait to watch him die a slow and painful death when we catch him. Touching my mate..my Luna, doing that to her. I quickly took a deep breath, trying not to get overwhelmed.

I remember coming into her room this morning. Seeing her bed stripped and everything cleaned. F**k, I felt as if I were about to drop dead right then. I linked Blake where she was and he acted clueless…prick. Luckily I followed her scent outside, and of course she was with mom. But seeing her for the first time in two days, the way she closed her eyes and sat on the bench, absorbing the sunlight. I knew at that moment that this was the woman who had me, all of me. My heart, soul, everything. I belonged to Mila and I would never let her go again.

She reached over, gripping my hand as she saw the pack house for the first time. We had to drive through the gates and the guards noted my Luna’s identity. Logging her into the new security systems that Tristan had set up. We needed it more than ever now, considering I had the most precious thing in the world here.

She was blown away by the computer system and everyone seemed to be drawn to her. The guards all giving each other subtle looks, I was ready to tear their f*****g throats out. I slowly let my Alpha presence be known, the air growing thicker as my overpowering energy came out. The guards instantly tensed and straightened their backs. My hand gripped Mila as she looked up at me curiously, my energy not seeming to affect her one bit. She truly was meant to be my mate. She reached up on her toes, kissing me lightly on the lips, showing these men who she belonged to, and I f*****g loved it.

The image of her wolf appeared to me, seeing that golden fur, unlike any I had ever seen before. Calypso was magnificent and Bain was already rolling on his back for her. She had such a strong regal presence. Mila was more kind-hearted and gentle but Calypso…she knew what she wanted and what she deserved. Bain was done for, he wanted to mate with her so bad, I could feel his frustrations, wanting to claim his little mate.

‘Tonight Bain, we will mark her and claim her. She will be ours forever.’

Bain howled happily, he had actually been calmer than ever the last few hours. Seeing Calypso was just what he needed, he was more than satisfied.

‘Are you guys here yet?’

Blake linked me impatiently.

‘Blake..I am taking my mate straight to my room. Then we will not leave that room until tomorrow morning..no..afternoon. That’s when you can finally see her, when I say you can..’

I closed the link, using my Alpha voice as I spoke.

I wasn’t going to let them take this over, I had a plan and I hoped Tristan did what I asked. Who knew it was even her birthday today..of course, she probably wouldn’t have said anything if the doctor didn’t ask. My mate was like that, she didn’t want to put herself first. She was so selfless, so kind, and courteous, unlike any woman I had ever met. She was amazing and I was going to show her that. I would put her first..give her things she would never ask for herself. I want to make today special, the day she becomes mine in every sense of the word. Let’s hope Tristan kept the birthday thing to himself. Who knows what my family would do if they found out.

(Mila)

We drove away from the front gates, everyone had been so kind and welcoming. I could tell Rowan was getting jealous of the attention they were giving me. But they were just excited to meet their future Luna. I tried to be nice but not overstep and felt slightly overwhelmed with all the new things I was seeing. There had to be like twenty TVs in there and they were all flat.

As we were driving away, I looked towards the house, excitement filling me as a gasp left me. It was massive..the outside had a grey stone with dark wooden accents. There were large windows on each level and there had to be at least five floors. It reminded me of a castle, the two large wooden doors in the front slowly opened as we approached. There was a looping driveway with a large water fountain in the middle. On the top of the fountain sat a wolf, howling into the sky. Tall pine trees surrounded the mansion with other cabin-type homes not too far off in the woods. Rowan saw where I was looking as he spoke.

“That is where most of our omega live. So they can have their own place to go with their families.” He said quietly as I smiled brightly.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“This is all so wonderful..the house is amazing.” I said quickly, my excitement taking over as Rowan gave me a satisfied grin.

Once the car stopped Donovan opened the door for us, standing aside as he looked straight ahead.

“Thank you.” My words were soft, I was grateful for all of these people.

“Happy Birthday Luna.” Donavan said, surprising not only me but Rowan. His eyes grew wide as he froze in place and I swear I heard him curse under his breath..
