The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning

Chapter 1269

Chapter 1269

Cecilia ended the call as her eyes showed a triumphant expression. She put her legs down and stood

up before instructing the bodyguard, “Get ready and prepare for the discharge procedures.”

The bodyguard replied, “Ms. Samford, the nurse mentioned that Mr.

Jardin’s wound hasn’t fully healed, and he needs more time to rest.”

“I don’t need your meddling advice; I know what to do.” Cecilia touched her abdomen and smiled. “I’ve

been busy lately, it’s time for me to take a good rest.”

The bodyguard responded, “Okay.”

At midnight, Cecilia was sitting in a car with Zach lying beside her. After riding for almost an hour, they

arrived at a secluded place. The signal there was unstable, making it challenging for anyone to locate

this place.

It was quiet. Inside a villa large enough to accommodate over a thousand people, there were hospital-

grade medical facilities family doctors on standby.

Walls surrounded the area, resembling a cage specifically made Zach.

In a massive master bedroom that could almost fit a swimming poo Zach lay on the bed while a doctor

re-administered the IV on the back of Zach’s hand.

After a busy day, Cecilia was exhausted. She dismissed everyone, removed her clothes, and walked

into the bathroom with the bath

already prepared. She then soaked herself in the hot water. With her

eyes closed, she enjoyed the moment as she sipped the milk.

After some time, a man quietly entered the room. Upon hearing footsteps, Cecilia instantly opened her

eyes and saw the man open

the shower curtain.

Cecilia suddenly extended her smooth and delicate long leg to tease the man with it. “I thought it would

be harder for you to locate this place.”

The man replied, “I’ve said before, it’s very easy for me to find someone’s whereabouts.”

Cecilia smiled sweetly. “Have you found out what I asked you to investigate?” This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.

“I won’t tell you. I won’t interfere in your affairs with him. I only need the child in your belly to carry on

my family line.”

Cecilia casually sipped her milk. “Why me? With your status, there should be plenty of women who are

willing to bear your child.”

The man replied, “Because you’re worthy. Now finish up and co quickly. I don’t want anything

unexpected to happen to my chil

As he turned to leave, Cecilia suddenly approached him and pr against his back, hugging him tightly.

“It’s been so long; don’t you miss me?”

The man removed her hands without looking at her. “Don’t be so clingy. If you can’t protect this child, I

won’t spare you.”

After he left, Cecilia’s smile immediately faded. She indifferently put on a bathrobe before walking to

the side of the large bed to gently

caress Zach’s face. “Among everyone, you’re still the one I like the

most…

“When you wake up and see this villa I’ve built for you, you’ll definitely love it.

“At that time, there will be another surprise.”

There was a thick iron chain hanging on the bedpost. This was the surprise that Cecilia had prepared

for Zach.

Cecilia had not returned to the company for nearly half a month. Susan handled the meetings most of

the time. She had not even had time to drink water all day. She thought, ‘I’ve been so busy. If I’d known

earlier, I’d rather just remain an insignificant secretary.”

In the video conference, Susan asked, “Ms. Samford, are you really planning to sell the company’s

shares to outsiders?”
