Chapter 2687
Two copies of the contract termination letter were prepared, and the process of obtaining both signatures and fingerprints was very straightforward. Finally, Theo requested Keith to send Nibel off.
I took a look at Theo before finally choosing to follow him out as well.
Despite being a distance away from them, I could clearly see the gaze Nibel was using to look at Keith. It was as if he were extraordinary.
It was no longer as unfamiliar as before, and there seemed to be a lot in that gaze.
I observed them for a bit before choosing to return to the office to prevent them from seeing me.
I picked up the contract termination letter and looked over it before turning to Theo. "Theo, won't it be difficult for you to explain to the shareholders if you terminate the contract this hastily?" "Nibel coming here means that he's determined. Even if we didn't agree with him, so what?"
I could hear a hint of helplessness in Theo's voice. I was similarly powerless.
Standing in front of the window with him, I looked out at the busy traffic along with the blue sky lined with white clouds and felt a sense of melancholy.
"There has to be something going on between Nibel and Keith."
Their gazes did not die.
Theo closed his eyes and let out a sigh. "What has to come will come."
"How do you plan to deal with it, then?" I asked him.
He opened his eyes, and instantly, an incomprehensible look flashed through them. "We'll wait and see."
Theo had chosen to sit on the sidelines. My mood deteriorated as I watched the sales for Golden-O drop gradually.
While my body was in Green Orange, my mind was at Grant Corporation.
Marius noticed I was distracted when he came in and called out to me, "Even though Green Orange is stable now, can I implore you to worry about your company more, President Lane?"
"Am I not working? Relax. I just occasionally think."
He advised me while sorting the documents, "All that thinking gets you nowhere. Why don't you focus on green Orange instead? Do you know the kind of person Theo is? He won't let this small matter topple him. You should just relax." Marius was right.
Theo had weathered all kinds of situations in the business world. He would definitely get through this. What was more, Grant Corporation was not so easily defeated
I was probably thinking too much.
"You're saying all this just so I'd work. I'm working seriously here. pushed away my worries about the matter with Grant Corporation and focused my attention on my work at Green Orange. en
After I was done with work, I craned my neck and looked at Marius who still had work to do. I grabbed my bag and said, "I'm done. I'm going home now." "Be careful on the way."Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
I pushed open the office door and dragged my tired body out of the company.
I knew Theo must still be working overtime at the company, so I went there to look for him.
Sure enough, there he was.
Theo looked up when he heard me. "Why did you come?"
"I knew you'd be here and was
worried you haven't had dinner, so I came to look for you." I pulled Thee's hand and placed the pen he was holding on the table before giving him a slight smile. "Let's go."

"Alright. Let's go have dinner."
Theo agreed without haggling with me.
We walked out of the office hand-in-hand. Keith was getting off work. We looked in his direction together and noted he was packing his things. After just one glance, we left Grant Corporation.
"What do you want to eat?"
"I heard there's a new restaurant on West Street. Let's try it." I flipped through a food page and found a new restaurant with a good environment. Theo nodded and agreed. "Alright. Let's go there."
I looked back at Theo. Although he was expressionless, I could tell he was exhausted. It seemed that he had not gotten a breakthrough yet. Holding his hand, I tightened my grip slightly. "It'll pass."
Theo looked at me and smiled. "Yes."
