Their Secret Obsession (A Reverse Harem)

Chapter 0321

Kane's POV

"Looks like even hellhounds can bleed," Sebastian sneered, standing over Knox's fallen form. My heart lurched at the sight of my brother collapsing, blood pooling beneath him. Without a second thought, I rushed to his side in my wolf form, my paws skidding on the slick stone floor as I closed the distance between us.

"Knox!" I howled internally, panic gripping me like a vice. The sight of the blade protruding from his side sent a chill down my spine. Was the wound fatal? I nuzzled his face desperately, trying to elicit any sign of consciousness. His eyes fluttered, the vibrant blue dimming as they began to close.

"No, no, stay with me!" I urged, my wolf voice a blend of a growl and a whine. Havoc's eyes finally shut, and for a terrifying moment, I feared the worst. I sucked down a sob, refusing to accept that this could be the end.

But then, in an instant, his eyes snapped open-not the familiar blue, but a deep red, flames of hell burning within them. Havoc had fully awakened.

He rose with a fluid grace, the wound in his side seeming inconsequential. Havoc leaned over and licked across Rolo's face affectionately, a gesture both reassuring and slightly unsettling. His fiery eyes locked onto mine, and a surge of relief washed over me. "You're okay," I thought, hope rekindling.

Sebastian's confident smirk wavered as he watched Havoc stand tall once more. Panic flashed across his face. He began to back away, his earlier bravado fading. Before he could retreat further, Chase stepped out from behind him, blades at the ready. "Going somewhere?" Chase quipped, his eyes cold.

"Gross, that ain't coming out," he teased, glancing at the drool staining Rolo's fur before winking at me. His light-hearted jab was a brief respite amid the chaos. Sebastian snarled and lunged at Chase, but Chase sidestepped effortlessly. "You'll have to do better than that," Chase taunted.

Suddenly, a shadow moved behind Chase. One of Sebastian's men sprang forward, grabbing Chase from behind and dragging him off balance.

"Chase!" I barked, momentarily stunned as I watched them struggle.

But there was no time to hesitate. As Havoc charged at Sebastian, I sprang into action, turning to help Chase. He grappled with his assailant, the two of them locked in a fierce battle. I leapt, knocking the attacker off him, my jaws snapping inches from the man's face. "Thanks," Chase panted, regaining his footing.

"Don't mention it," I replied through our mind link.

Meanwhile, the cavern had erupted into pandemonium once more. Chase moved like a whirlwind, his movements precise and deadly. He weaved through the fray, taking down enemies with calculated efficiency. Despite being in human form, he was a force to be reckoned with, his blades flashing under the flickering torchlight.

"Keep pushing forward!" he yelled, his voice cutting through the clamour.

Adam's wolf-Savage-was a blur of motion, cutting through opponents like they were nothing. His jaws snapped, claws raked, and foes fell before him. He lived up to his name, a whirlwind of destruction. For a moment, I considered that Savage might just be wolf enough to take on Havoc if it ever came to that a thought both unsettling and oddly reassuring.

"You're wasting your time," Sebastian shouted from across the chamber, a smug expression creeping back onto his face. "Even if you get past us, you'll never reach her in time!"

"Watch us," Rolo growled through

me, our eyes meeting Havoc's as we

shared a unified determination. With

a final coordinated effort, we overpowered the remainingnoveldrama

attackers. They fell back, retreating into the shadows. A feeling victory surged through us. Adam and Liam exchanged a glance.

"We'll go after them, make sure they don't regroup," Adam declared, his voice echoing in our minds, somehow.

"Be careful," I cautioned.

"Always am," he replied with a wolfish grin before he and Liam took off down a side passage. Chase, Knox, and I turned our focus back to Sebastian, who was now cornered. Only then did it hit me-Leigh was nowhere to be seen. "Where's our father?" I asked through mindlink, scanning the chamber quickly.

"Probably ran off when things got tough," Knox spat back, his disdain evident.

"Impressive," Sebastian admitted grudgingly, wiping a trickle of sweat from his brow, bringing me back to here and now. "But this isn't over." His grin faltered as he realised his men were defeated. A flicker of frustration crossed his face, but he quickly masked it with another smug smile. He turned to flee down a side

tunnel.

"After him!" Chase shouted.

We gave pursuit, our footsteps pounding against the stone floor. The tunnel twisted and turned, the air growing colder and damper. The echoes of our chase bounced off the walls, creating a disorienting cacophony. "He's leading us into a trap," Chase warned, his eyes darting around for any signs of danger.

"I don't care," I retorted. "We can't let him get away."

We burst into another chamber-a dead end. Sebastian stood in the centre, a wicked smile on his face.

"End of the line," he taunted.

Knox and I shifted back into our human forms, panting but resolute. Chase slid to a halt beside us, weapons at the ready.

"Where is she?" I demanded, advancing toward him. My voice echoed ominously in the confined space. I could feel Rolo simmering beneath the surface, ready to be unleashed again at a moment's notice. "Tell me now, or you'll regret it." "Closer than you think," he laughed. Before we could react, the ground beneath us shuddered. A deep rumbling echoed through the chamber.

"What's happening?" Chase exclaimed, panic flashing in his eyes as he struggled to maintain balance. The walls trembled, dust and small rocks raining down from above.

Sebastian's eyes gleamed. "Time to

say goodbye, boys." He gave a sickeningly cheerful wave, his grin stretching wide with malicious glee "It's been fun, but all games must come to an end," he mocked, his voice dripping with contempt. "Looks like Knox is ready to meet his maker anyway," he added, his words freezing me in place.

I turned sharply to see Knox falter; his hand pressed tightly against his side. Blood seeped between his fingers, staining his skin a dark crimson. His face was pale, eyes wide with shock.
