NOT YOUR TYPE
“Gosh!” Kimberly exclaimed in surprise when she saw the man she knew very well sitting on one side of her bed in her room.
The man lifted his face and then turned to look at Kimberly, who was still standing quietly in front of the bathroom door. After a short while, Kimberly walked toward where the man was sitting.
“Why are you here? Didn’t you say you’d be back the day after tomorrow?” Kimberly asked, giving Nicholas a scrutinizing look.
Instead of answering Kimberly’s question, Nicholas’s gaze shifted to an object that had caught his attention earlier.
“Whose flowers are those?” Nicholas asked, nodding toward the lily bouquet that was lying on the nightstand.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“How could you ask me that? Those are your flowers, aren’t they?” Kimberly replied.
Nicholas blinked. “My flowers?” He then shook his head, wearing a puzzled expression. “I sent you red roses, not lilies. This isn’t a gift from me, Kimberly Rayder.”
Now, it was Kimberly’s turn to be confused. If it wasn’t Nicholas, then who had sent her lilies so early in the morning? This person seemed to know that Kimberly liked white lilies.
“Who would dare to send you flowers like that?” Nicholas pointed, looking displeased.
Kimberly shrugged. “I swear to God, I have no idea. There’s no sender’s name on them. That’s why I thought it was from you. Besides, if it wasn’t, I would have thrown them away.” Kimberly grabbed the flower bouquet and casually disposed of it in the nearby trash can.
“Finished. What else do you want to complain about? Now answer my question. Why did you come home so early? Even this early in the morning?”
Nicholas sighed and then replied, “Aren’t you missing me? That’s why I decided to come home early. So your longing could be quickly relieved.”
Kimberly’s face turned red.
“You’re overdoing it.”
Nicholas’s lips curled into a smirk. He then reached for Kimberly’s fingers, gently squeezing them while continuing to gaze at the woman’s blushing face.
“Are you deliberately teasing me?” he asked.
Kimberly furrowed her brow.
“Teasing you? What do you mean by teasing?” Kimberly was confused. She thought she hadn’t done anything since earlier.
Nicholas smiled knowingly. His hands continued to affectionately squeeze and caress Kimberly’s wrist. “Look at yourself, wearing only a thin towel that covers just the upper part of your body. Isn’t that unintentionally teasing?”
“Tsk tsk!”
Kimberly sighed loudly and pulled her hands away from Nicholas’s grasp. “Do you think I knew you would come home today? You suddenly walked into my room,” Kimberly retorted. “Besides, even if I were completely naked, you wouldn’t be tempted, would you? I’m self-aware that I’m not your ideal type of woman.” Right after Kimberly finished her sentence, she casually let go of the towel wrapped around her body. With a dismissive look at Nicholas, she then turned around and walked leisurely towards the walk-in closet.
The smile on Nicholas’s face faded as he listened to Kimberly’s sarcastic remarks. His breath caught as he watched the woman walk past him, completely bare.
In the first moment, Nicholas tried to keep his composure. But when he saw Kimberly flip her wet hair from a distance, he immediately moved towards her, narrowing the gap between them. Moments later, he grasped her waist and pushed her petite body into one side of the closet.
In an instant, Nicholas’s lips met Kimberly’s, initiating a kiss that started gently but gradually grew more demanding. He continued to kiss her, devouring her tiny lips without breaking eye contact.
Still kissing, Nicholas’s hands roamed over Kimberly’s bare, innocent body. Before long, he released their lips and moved to her neck.
“Nick…” a sigh escaped Kimberly’s lips.
Nicholas lifted his head, gazing at Kimberly’s brown eyes, now filled with desire. It was an irresistible passion, and Kimberly was well aware of it. She pulled Nicholas’s body to stand parallel to hers.
“Do what you want, Nick,” Kimberly whispered.
With heavy breaths, Nicholas resumed kissing Kimberly fervently. However, when Kimberly tried to remove Nicholas’s pants, he seemed to come to his senses and withdrew. He shook his head several times.
“Kimberly, stop!” Nicholas exclaimed. “I’m sorry, I really can’t.” The next moment, Nicholas left, leaving Kimberly sitting in her place.
